The only outfit I like is Ashley's. Kaidan's is so so, but the color on Liara's outfit makes me:sick: for some reason. Vega on the other hand could seriously pass for a linebacker/Schwarzenegger body double.

I know he said that, but I want them to promote Ashley in armor too, then.

Also, Kaidan in his alternate skintight catsuit.

So...Asley wears a battle skirt and shoes (lol), Kaidan learnt to wear heavy armor, Liara looks bad in red and that BULL. He looks funny. A very bif target for enemies.

Oh dear. Well I dunno - as a casual outfit, I don't mind this but they really need to show her in some combat armor. This bulletproof spandex is ridiculous, why's Shepard even bothering with armor?

The concept of alternate appearances would seem to rule out the possibility of armor customization a la ME1.

Totally not for me. I seriously hope this is just some photo-manip.

I only like my Ash one way, and thats with heavy armor, like a proper soldier of her ability should wear... I was able to tolerate the blue lighter armor, but this skirt-and-high-heel ensemble is going to far, and even worse its trying to channel the old Ash with the color scheme!:pinched:

Also, why the HELL is Liara in Justicar armor?? :blink:

Only Samara can rock it, as she's a proper Justicar.

If this pic of alternate outfits is real, then I gotta say the M.E. art department has officially gone overboard like DA2's art team. Whats next? Are we going to see Tali in see-through plastic leggings and arms that makes it look like she's wearing a breastplate, boots, gauntlets, and a metal bikini like some female Barbarian-class warrior?

EDIT: This is overall in a joking tone, but still! I want my squaddies in armor during battle! Releasing the second alternate appearance pack made me so happy because it allows Miranda to have armor in battle

Not being weird or anything, but that made me come over a bit funny *needs to lie down*

Also Ash does have *garters*  If you fully zoom you can see a black ribbon like detail at the front of her thighs.
For the record, I like Ash, I like the way she looked before and I like her now, though I get why her fans are p*ssed about the new look. She was a badass and BioWare have girlied her up.......... I'm sure she will still rock, but I get why the look would grate for people wanting to avoid the overt girly look... *shrugs* sadly I wil only see her on youtube :( As I can't kill Kaidan ever....

One more thing - someone please explain me what purpose serve knee pads ABOVE the knees? If they're below (see Samara or new Liara), it may be justified as "to make the situation when person who wears it should fall on knees to take cover fast less painful", but if Ashley will perform this trick in this outfit... well, I can't even figure out how this white plating and small red strap under this is supposed to work...

at least kaiden's dead in all my playthroughs so i won't have to look at that bulky, inappropriate armour, but jeez new guy looks like a bloody robot - just look at his legs/feet, even more ridiculous. ashley in a skirt is LOL, the only one that is ok is Liara's and that is a simple re-colour of her LoSB one.

I just want to know when and or if this will get confirmed. For all we know it could be fake or some fans rendition or something. Either way I just found myself a new desktop and these outfits look really cool I wasn't expecting Vega to look like that though. I wonder who the VA is going to be.

I think its too late. We all know the Bioware mod/overlords hear all, see all, so chances are they picked up this idea as soon as I posted and now the Mass Effect team is working on this outfit for Tali
