I don't think anyone's overreacting.  We have a right to voice our opinions on this topic.  If people aren't happy about something better to say something now while there's still 7 months to go then to wait until it's too late for it to matter.

Yes I've read this thread.  I just don't think it's necessary to say people are overreacting about a topic they obviously care about.  And i'm not surprised that many didn't want to take YOUR word for it that their concerns weren't valid.  <_<

It was definitely overreacting. Look i'm a huge Ashley fan. She's been my canon LI from the beginning. I understand why people don't like her Alt outfit, but at the same time they made such a big deal out of it. Especially when you consider it's an exclusive outfit for the CE. Casey already made it clear she'll have armor in the game.

I'm assuming the lack of a 'this is the heavy armour Ashley is going to wear' pictures is down to it not being done yet. They obviously don't want to just slap their characters in generic gear and call it a day. My personal dissatisfaction is on hold until such time as the other suit shows up.

Not that I don't agree with the sentiment that putting her in her current suit is a little odd, but hey.

I'm not in love with the alt outfit, but as a casual option Ashley will be wearing it while aboard the Normandy.  As far as it being an exclusive outfit for the CE it's just a recolor of what we saw from the E3 trailer.  It's not hard to believe that people might get confused and freaked out thinking that this was exactly what CHud meant when he said there would be armor.  And... I don't think everyone is so inclined as others to believe everything CHud says.  Why?  Ask them...

Not exactly, we still don't have an actual picture, it was nice of Casey to tweet about it and I've favorited it for posterity and in case I need to use it IF said full armor and helmet isn't what we imagined.. 

As said by others, I will believe it when I see it. Until then, I'd like lots of armor choices please.

I think Ashley's armor should be gigantic and impractical to the point where it doesn't even look like she can move around in it. Like the little brother in A Christmas Story where he couldn't move cause he had like 5 layers of winter clothing on lol.

It wasn't even MY word. I was mentioning thiongs that Priestly and Casey said. It rendered their concerns invalid. I was trying to help out and calm people down.

Well next time you want to "help out" I suggest you use a less condescending demeanor.  It's not going to get you anywhere... In fact.. Trying to help out in general probably won't get you anywhere anyway as after 70 pages of the same arguments followed by the same responses have made.. no difference.

You can. But please, for the love of god, wait at least two or three months before you complain again. You will not cry every month anyway ? Hudson has already answered twice.

Apart from the fact that this pretty much settles all the disputes, it also shows that it is a jacket and not a miniskirt that she is wearing, depsite what some people have been saying.

It won't do much but stem the tide of complaints until a picture of the armor is released. Then a new contigent of fans, with some hold overs from this thread, will proceed to whine about why that specific armor set is wrong for Ashely etc...

There are always going to be issues when individual expectations don't mesh with what the game actually offers, whether those expectations are justified are not.

'Jacket outfit' sounds better than 'mini skirt outfit'

Plus, a jacket and a mini skirt can be part of the same outfit.

Yes but some people in this thread made it sound as though Ash was prancing about in a skimpy little skirt when the image quite clearly shows it is just a long jacket. It is like the male and female Cerberus Officer outfit, and the outfit Maleshep wears in Kasumi's quest. Its also very like modern day ceremonial officer's wear. I don't understand how people mistook it for a miniskirt.

He doesn't need to it can always be conveniently cut from the game later to meet some deadline and that doesn't make him a liar now.
