Apart from the fact that this pretty much settles all the disputes, it also shows that it is a jacket and not a miniskirt that she is wearing, depsite what some people have been saying.

Yes but some people in this thread made it sound as though Ash was prancing about in a skimpy little skirt when the image quite clearly shows it is just a long jacket. It is like the male and female Cerberus Officer outfit, and the outfit Maleshep wears in Kasumi's quest. Its also very like modern day ceremonial officer's wear. I don't understand how people mistook it for a miniskirt.

because, in the end, it looks like one. it's not like Liara's, who is clearly wearing a jacket on top of her suit.

Bear in mind that we haven't had a single official screenshot of Ash from Bioware yet. All we've had are magazine scans showing her development, a glimpse of her in a demo and the screenshot in this thread that Preistly says was originally for retailers to use but isn't final. Its way to early to complaining about there being no sign of her armour when really there has been no real sign of her at all.

for all you know she will have a hardsuit + helmet solely in 1 or 2 missions set in vacuum space or some other situation

until someone confirms we can equip her with full armor at any time  the issue remains

Uh, you'll have to dig up a quote, because I don't remember any sort of claim that characters like Miranda, Jack, Samara, etc. would wear anything than what they eventually ended up with.

I know ME2 left a lot of people jaded, but I find it hard to rationalize "Full Armor and a helmet" with anything less than what they've already shown.

But, hey, you might be right. Next shot we see of her could be in a chain mail bikini with some sort of headband on her head. Because that's what "Full Armor and a helmet" means to you, right?

Ahh, good ol' Bungie delivering a female character that isn't sexualized and has full body armor and a helmet. 
I think this would look good but It needs to have the mass effect color scheme, IMO.

I haven't read through the forum yet so this has probably already been mentioned a gazillion times. But why doesn't Ashley wear soldier armor anymore? Honestly what I see her in looks like something Liara could slip in just as easily. It doesn't make sense to me. I like the new face but she should still look like she'll brutalize your enemies. It's like they've Mirandered her.

Well, Liara has facial gear that really looks like Samara's, who's a Justicar....

As for the outift, not liking it so much. I've seen better "re-colors" than that one.

Those don't really fit in with ME's art style, though I imagine you were using them as rough examples?

Exactly. Like to complain about something that was already confirmed for the next episode. As continue to complain after having second confirmation. It's crazy what we have in common between us. A true love story.

You will not believe Bioware despite all this ? So why not all shut up and wait to see other images. We can't do anything for you if the words have no meaning.
