Just some new terrains for tom banjos forest exp. Featuring a new cliff, raise/lower and water so far, enjoy:

Looking good. This was always my favourite version of the forest tileset, good to see it getting a bit more of an update

And Baba, I hate to be requesting weird stuff, but... C'mon. You've gotta put the hut of your namesake somewhere in the tileset

There's a skull in project Q that would fit baba yaga's hut very well.

I like the cliffs and ferns and all you added very much, but I don't like the trees without foliage .
Okay, I overlooked the p.s., you said that the trees are from six's wild woods, but didn't his trees have foliage?

That fallen tree and the small tree that does have foliage look nice!

A question: Is that cliff a terrain or a crosser and will there be waterfalls?

Tom's forest tileset already has waterfalls and as this looks to be based on it, or additional extras being created for Tom's tileset, the waterfalls should already be available. What will really make it *POP* are the waterfalls JOINING up with the WATER being added by Baba Yaga!

Those were the waterfalls I meant, FP. The ones for Baba Yaga's raised terrain and the cliffs, joining up with the water, or even some that don't join up with the water. There could be some waterfalls like the one that already is in the forest tileset where the water disappears into an deep chasm.

What would also be really nice would be if there could be water right at the bottom of Baba's cliffs, without green forest floor between the cliff and the water.

Well, I know that water can be right below a cliff wall in Tom's tileset but those walls are not walkable. Hard to say if Baba implemented that with his own cliffs or not. They may very well be just a reskin of Tom's cliffs and if so, then water can certainly be placed there.

Looking forward to checking it out when it's released!

The "cliff-terrain" is all new geometry and will join up with water/forest and chasms. So waterfalls for water and chasms yes. And fyi the water-terrain is not raised at all in those screens. The ridge is supposed to be that deep. This water is walkable. From there on another deepwater-terrain can be placed which is not walkable anymore hehe. The texture i used may irritate a bit, it´s still a wip anyway;)

no sorry. Im still working on the water/ridge + deepwater terrain and all cliff formations. Raise/lower is finished;)

Okay, I'll definitely keep checking back. Would it be possible to make the water walkable? I wanted to be able to wade into the pool with the waterfall especially.

I have no experience with the animesh water and i dont know if its worth in the end (timewise) so for now i just plan to replace the ttf water later on and add here and there some random  splashemitters to create some mood. For the deepwater terrain this could be very cool indeed;)

ive been experimenting animesh a bit, if youll decide to add something like that just tell me, explain its behavior its kinda easy and quick to add to a water plane

Streams flow downhill.

So do rivers.

That is what Sen is thinking of creating/doing, giving the illusion of flowing water, not so much waves or tides.

But that's not what he said. He said 'like tno seacliffs'. The animeshes of the seacliffs simulate water that rises and falls. Water in rivers or lakes wouldn't do that.
