Liara- i honestly had enough of her in the LotSB not sure why but she just didnt really tickle my fancy. and i was glad when it was over hoping she would stay in that lair and not come out unless i needed information... unfortunetly not
VS- again idk why they were brought back, when they stormed off horizon i was glad to see it, their reactions were kind of insulting to my shep and it was like a good ridance feeling but now that we are back in alliance space they want to be all buddy buddy again? ya no thank you
Garrus/Tali- both glad to see, at least we get a couple of decent characters
Vega- no comment as of yet hopefully he turns out to be a cool guy... i would still rather get to pick somone from an old squad tho
all in all i will say that i wish we could pick our own team from all 15 or whatever number there are from both past games... unfortunetly that would be insanely difficult for bioware making every possible outcome and selction options available so that is likely out... still would be awesome tho
any who..... thoughts???

About the characters: Always liked Liara, Tali and Garrus so I'm glad they're back. My opinion of the VS went down the drain on Horizon, they better not talk back at Shepard again in ME3. Vega... no opinion yet since we know almost nothing about him.

Why are you contradicting yourself?? You say you hate the squad revealed so far, which is the basis of the ORIGINAL squad, and then you say you want to pick from the old squad? WTF

Never said the word "hate" just dissapointed in the selection of "permanent" members
and i said that all characters should be available so everyone can have their pick of favorites... its not going to happen would of just been cool.
just more flexability on the permanent squad would have been nice with so many previous squad members out there

Second, no offence but you seem like a troll to me. No fan with reasonable knowledge of the series would suggest the things you're suggesting.
Anyways, rant on.

second, how is suggesting more variety in your permanent squad a trolling statement? i'm not the only one to be suggesting it. and it would make sense to be able to pick your 5 or 6 squad mates from all the previous ones since everyone could make the team they wanted, however it would just be too much work to make the game.
i apologize for using common sense

Calm down already. We're 8 months away from release and you're talking as if everything that's in ME3 has been confirmed already. Have some patience and wait for new announcements. I'm 100% sure there will be more characters from ME2 returning as squad members so just wait for that announcement.

Lolwut? Aliens are way more intresting then Human characters. Humans are to generic and boring. The Aliens in Mass Effect are really intresting and always have unique backstorys. That's my opinion though.Siansonea II wrote...
I'm just glad we're going to have so many humans. Other than asari, I find aliens to be tiresome and cliché.

But I understand that everyone has their favorites .. that some did not even play ME1.
Disappointed? Hell NO! I can't wait to play ME3 with all the characters, whether full time squaddies or just passing through. I also can't wait to see Shiala, Conrad, etc.
Come on March 2012!!!!!!

No. IF you were using common sense you would know something like that is 1- not plausible 2- not practical and 3-not economical
So let me get this straight, you want the devs to design a whole game, and being able to work a whole playthrough with literally 100 squad combinations, then record sound for EVERY single one of them, then animate them all, basically its like making 10 games packed in one game. Think much? Do you know how much that game would cost for us to buy? Not to mention the insane amount of money and TIME needed to make that?
No you are not using common sense or not thinking rationally for that matter.

are you not reading his whole post, all the guy is sayin that he would like that as an option then he says "however it would just be too much work to make the game" he knows its not practical but its something that would be cool, relax dude dnt be so quick to judge.

That's what I'm hoping for. Something along the lines of ME2 gradualism but instead of a new crew you're getting the gang back together.

i understand that hence why i said right in my post that it wont happen... my point was that it would be a cool idea and would make sense if it happened but there was no way it could happen... Read much?
