The year is 9:31, during the prophetic and aptly named Dragon Age. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Hero of Ferelden and his companions, the archdemon of the Fifth Blight, Urthemiel, was slain at the Battle of Denerim. Many good souls were lost that day, but the people of Ferelden rejoiced, as the Blight was quelled almost as quickly as it begun. In it's wake, however, the fate of Thedas, and all of those who walk on her soil, was altered.
