So I got Ultimate Edition Dragon Age Origins for the PC, on my Windows XP Media edition. I have the problem where all the DLC except Awakening is unauthorized. I attempted several of the steps listed on this forum, including clearing the download cache, and nothing worked. Then I discovered that the updater was not installed when going into services. After trying to follow the link to install it, I got a 404. Is there a more recent fix for this? I couldn't locate it.

None of my content works either, I got the Steam version Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition - PC
All the extra content is unauthorized, I paid for this game last night and have yet to even play it because of this. I purchased it to see if I might want to buy part 2, now after this there is no way in Hell I buy the new one.

It's not that the game doesn't work, it loads my DA:O saves just fine. But this DLC thing is pretty annoying.

Steam's installer constantly skips parts, such as the Direct3D most specifically; I wouldn't give that outfit the time of day, but D2D is worse. The only digital download worth attempting, IMO, is EA's own, from their store, with the downloader now named "Origin". Anyone with any kind of legal game from any source, can choose to use the EA digital version instead.
Personally, I am very old-fashioned; I want my game on a disk of its own.

If it works for you, that's great, but like I warned you, someone else will have to provide any details of the process if it isn't clear to you when you go there; I haven't downloaded anything there myself.

im having trouble aswell i just paied for quiet a few of thoes DLC's but its only one that came under download continent and thats unauthorized and i bought the game a while back and it have been updated aswell its fustrating so if any of you had experienced similar problems as me please help me
