I really like the DA2 style elves, and when I go back to DAO I get sad at the boring short elves in that one. I've been searching for a mod that makes the DAO elves look like DA2 elves... or at least makes it possible to create one in the creator? Anyone know of one? Thanks.
Make DAO elves look like DA2?

No, it would not be possible (or at least, impractical to the point of impossibility) to have morph-based DA2 Elves in DA1. In theory you could set up DA1 Elf NPCs to use custom heads rather than morphs, but that would rely on someone making a tool that converts a DA2 morph into a usable mesh (there is currently no such tool I would think), importing that into a 3D app and changing the position of each and every head to match the DA1 Elf rig, reskinning each and every head to use the DA1 rig, creating separate standalone eyes for use with those heads in DA1 (DA2 incorporates eyes into the head model, unlike DA1), exporting all those assets as DA1 models, creating the new GDAs to make use of these new assets, and then finally editing and re-exporting each and every Elf NPC UTC to swap over to use the new heads. Even if it were possible, the odds of someone doing that seem fairly long, given the amount of effort required.
If converting the DA2 morphs to meshes proved impossible (as I suspect), you could potentially use the base head, but then every head would look the same, so that would really only be practical for one or two individuals (one of each sex) unless you wanted an army of clones.

Well, it's possible to have an approximation of sorts -- by altering the base elf head morph for DAO to have the features more resembling the ones used in DA2, then re-exporting the individual .mor files to force them take these changes. Side effect being, newly created player characters can also share these DA2-like features.
The results of such approach aren't going to be 100% like DA2 of course, but on the upside this avoids the horrors like the "faces of lyrium" Zevran so maybe it's for the better.
sample of such approach would be here: http://social.biowar...m/project/4483/
afraid i don't know of any other attempt, except for one which does the reverse (reverting the nose bridge changes in DA2 back to DAO style etc)

Thanks a lot! I downloaded the one that at least gave your character the lack of nose bridge, and the elf eyes ones. It helps a little.
Now if only there was a mod to give them Irish accents, lol...

The other features are possible to achieve simply through the sliders, though it may require the morph creator from the Toolset for full control. But overall you can get it pretty close to DA2 appearances.Masako52 wrote...
