The Bioware Base at the Gaslamp Hilton requires no badge to attend.  It is outside of the convention center and therefore fair game.

Hi Everyone.

Please note we have updated the time of the event and the rules slightly. Due to legal reasons, the contest is only open to those 13 years old and above.

We have also changed the start time. It is still on Friday July 22, but attendees MUST show up at the booth in costume before 5pm. We are going to be doing a "red carpet" filming and interviews with people in costume, plus there is lots to get done preparing for the actual contest. So please show up at 5pm or before.

Stupid question that must be asked: Any policies on handlers? My BF will be coming along to take pictures, hold Bianca, and remind me to breathe. Will he be allowed "backstage" for the contest?

Ah this is nice, I always anted to be a Blood Mage, but I guess my transportation is my main issue heh, as I live on an island as well too. Do make some nice vids of this awesome event,or a DVD or a BluRay , that might also be an idea to merchandise, it would be worth it imo. I'd make use of a real skull for my Apostate's Courage Staff, which I got with the Signature Edition of DAII.
