I've just purchased the Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition from Steam. I opened the game up, logged in with my EA account, and was sitting contently ready to start playing. But WAIT! "Your DLC Content is unauthorized
and therefore will not appear in game." My cries.
So, I go to the Downloadable Content link, open it, everything but Awakenings is Unauthorized. I went to my profile, registered the game with the CD Key and I thought I was okay. Wrong. Steam gave me a DLC Key, that I don't know where to enter, and bioware isn't picking up that i've purchased the game.
Help.
DLC Unauthorized. (Different scenario than other threads.)

I'm in the same boat. But none of my DLC is authorized. SO furious.

I read alot of the posts concerning this issue and am too playing on steam install
Following this link i saw on another post:
http://support.ea.co...on Age: Origins
I tried the solution #2 but it didnt work because Windows 7 wouldnt let me start the DAUpdater Service in the Command Prompt like they instructed to do.
Hold windows Key + R to get a run line
Type Services.msc then enter
Locate Dragon Age Origins - Content Updater
Highlight it and on the left you should see a start service link
Click on it and then start the game
Then log in to your ea account in game
This Worked for me Hope this helps
You may have to do this every time you want to start the game, havent rebooted since it worked.
At least it works

Once your DLC is authorized, you can play offline and it will not deauthorize.
