Can someone teach me how to download user made content?  I have tried before but I can't seem to understand how to do it.  Do i need the toolset downloaded or what?  Please make a reply as soon as possible.

You don't need the toolset for DLC.

You probably ought to download and install either DAO modmanager or DAModder from Dragon Age Nexus. Both programs will automate the process for you and come with detailed instructions.

Most mods will have a readme which gives installation instructions. Mousestalker is right that you should install a mod manager as they work well for DAZip and .override files. For manual installations, it's just a matter of unpacking the files into an override directory (the mod author will most likely say which override directory you should use for his or her mod in the readme).

I recently downloaded and installed "The Witch Hunt".It does not work. The ''downloadable content"still says that it is installing as if there is still something missing. It is very frustating. In contrast, there is never any problem with installing downloaded modules with Dragon Age 2.
Can please someone offer any help!

Have you tried manual installation via the DAUpdater? If you look under your registered game content, nearly all DLC content can be manually downloaded and installed using the DAUpdater. Simply follow the instructions here. If nothing else, there's an excellent troubleshooting guide here. Good luck.

I actually did download The Witch Hunt from the registered game content and used the daupdater from the data folder to install the module. The System installed 2 large Dazip files, but the in game status still says "downloading'.So I am not happy having paid for the module.Thank you anyway for trying to help.

Hmm, did you look under other campaigns in the main menu to see if Witch Hunt is available? If you've manually installed the DLC (making sure to have quit the DAO game first before manually installing anything) and the DAOUpdater had no problems, then the DLC should be available. If, in the in-game DLC menu, it says the DLC is still downloading or installing then there might be a glitch. You could try uninstalling the game (including deleting the files under My  Documents -- make a backup first). Then reinstall the game and start it, but do not connect the game to the internet yet. Stay disconnected and disable automatic downloading of DLC under the settings menu. Then quit the game and install all your DLC via the DAOUpdater. Making sure the DAOUpdater installed everything (it should tell you), exit the program and start DAO again. This time do allow the game to connect to the internet, that way any DLC that needs to be authorized will be authorized. Check your other campaigns and see if Witch Hunt is there.

Beyond that, I suggest starting a thread in the official technical support forum here. Also, I highly encourage reading through the guides here and here. You can ask questions in the threads of both and they cover pretty much every DLC issue one can think of. Good luck!

Continuing with the DLC Saga.I have installed patch 1.05 and also downloaded The Witch Hunt 1.1.Nothing has changed. The system installed 2 large DAzip files. But this leaves the Manifest XMLDocument. What am I to do with that?May be it should be copied inyo the DA folder. Please advice.
