The really funny thing is that it started the second TIM was treated "bad". Then the game was nothing but gutter filth.
Except I knew we'd be fighting Cerberus in ME3 and I still held out, leaks revealed to me the state of the game and that's when I decided to not get it. Not because of TIM but because of TIM and everything else with it.

Speak for yourself fanboy, I've never bought C&C4 due to them ruining the gameplay. Not all of us have poor impulse control like yourself.
As for why I'm here? For the same reason I've hung out on movie boards for Uwe Boll's drek, to have my fun mocking it but I guess that's too much of an extreme in thought for an apologist who thinks the Reapers pulling another Rachni Queen out of their asses doesn't invalidate the renegade path(among other things).
This is hilarious. You claim to have impulse-control, and yet, continue to frequent the site for the game you're "no longer excited about?" Oh yeah, because my idea of a good time is sitting around and mocking something for which my interest is dead... ?
I knew that weak excuse was coming anyway. That's what the all say: "I'm no longer happy so now I might as well stay and bash the game." And know it's a load of crap too, it's just what whiney fans say to justify the fact they are still interested but want to act like they aren't.
BTW, if it weren't for the Rachni Queen being pulled out of a Repaer ass, then then renegade die-hards would instead be complaining about how paragons get the mission and they don't. We've seen that song-and-dance before.
Stick to what you're good at little boy like mocking Jacob and leave the mature topics up to the adults. You're obviously far too clueless as to how BW could create seperate but equal paths that games like the Witcher series or Alpha Protocol have been doing for years now.

*cracks knuckles* Oh - where's my anti-fence sitting propaganda material... *looks around* Damn it, I know I have it here somewhere... you just wait right there... and I'll get to you as soon as I check what "we" usually say to people like "you".
Hey now, my canon/first run Shepard is a Paragade and makes decisions based on, not only what he feels the right thing to do is, but what will best stop the Reapers. This means taking both Paragon & Renegade options to maximize the strength of the Organic Fleets (I was going to say Alliance, but it's not just the Alliance) and do what he can to weaken the Reapers.
If you wish this to come to fisticuffs, get onto this fence and bring it.

Like topics featuring TIM-gushing with endless pictures, some bordering on hentai?
You used to be fun on here, now you joined the whining-babies side and are just a cornball.

@Dave of Canada: First off - I don't think I've ever seen you spewing crazy on here - but if you think some people are acting "smug" - I wonder why you don't take such issue with other people's almost harassment level attacks against viewpoints they don't agree with?
I don't like the attitude on both sides, actually. The problem is simply that one side seems to take issue with the decisions made with the game and the design decisions, the other side seems to take issue that the other posters take issue with that.
I might see harassment when people I usually agree with insult others as being "bleeding heart", "illogical" or other terms which have been used constantly, however I don't recall them being told to shut up or being told they're pathetic and should play paragon instead of "whining".

Of course - it's easier to achieve "extraodinarily controversial" status on BSN than actually write a piece of fiction anyone - anywhere - would want to experience.

They shouldn't have implemented this kind of ****ty scenario to begin with, Paragon or Renegade.Hah Yes Reapers wrote...

The only decisions that really warrant exclusive missions are both end of game ones.
Of course, it should be a war story after all, not some kind of crappy romance simulator that also allows to save the galaxy at no cost.Medhia Nox wrote...
@Kaiser Shepard: Are you one of the people that keeps arguing that "bad things must happen in ME because life isn't fair - and this is war - and etc. etc.?"
No, all Bioware is proving is that they are lazy and ambitionless. And sure, some decisions on need to backfire on both sides. But, if both sides were equally represented, the player would also be able to side with Cerberus and perhaps even a third faction (Aria/Terminus?)."IF" both sides aren't equally represented in ME 3 (and despite any leaks I remain dubious of that) - then, isn't Bioware just proving you right by showing that sometimes "life isn't fair"?
Or - was Bioware "only" going to be smart if they punished those stupid self-righteous paragons and paraded the pragmatic stoic Renegades?
What we currently have is:
Not siding with Cerberus > Cerberus turns on you vs. Siding with Cerberus > Cerberus turns on you
That is not strong game design, nor player agency. That's streamlining, and not the good kind.

It's not because it's just TIM, it's because it's done to an entire faction and morality. TIM just happens to be a convenient flag to rally behind.Someone With Mass wrote...

If there was a Cerberus path of sorts, and then TIM (the person, not his organisation) turns on the player near the end, there would hardly be as much of a problem.

Incorrect. It allows you to save the galaxy for $60 bought new.
My question is, why did you have your heart set on being able to side with Cerberus in the first place? I never felt like they were being set up as a future ally. Then again, feeling is subjective.[/quote]
