Hopefully we get to see her in the new demo @ sdcc !

This sums it up for me.ShepardsIdol wrote...
I am a great fan of both. I rented
ME2 first before buying the them both, so Miranda is my first romance. I fell for Ash in ME1 because of her role as a patriotic, christian, marine who isnt afraid to use her boomstick on hordes of geth. I did however, continue many playthroughs with the intention of staying loyal to Ashley, but ultimately falling for the incredible mystery and
personality that is Miranda. Think about it: Ash is an Alliance Marine. She loves nothing more than her beloved Marines. (Which is understandable and i dont blame her one bit) On Horizon, she explains after a last resort plea to join the crew and be with Shepard again that she wont betray her Alliance, not even for Shepard.
Miranda is a loyal Cerberus agent. Heck, she's the Illusive Man's right hand when it comes to operations and one of the select few who has ever met him face to face. She always speaks of Cerberus as an organization with great
intentions who just have a bad image, going so far as to tell Shepard that she Wished Cerberus had more people like him, people not joining out of xenophobia. And then the suicide mission comes along. She was willing to throw all of her rank and status with Cerberus away to stay with Shepard out of either admiration or love. The way i see it, anyone who's willing to go that far for me deserves my attention. Ash is still my second choice as an LI but it just seems like Miranda is more of a personality i admire and would be interested to discover more about. Not to mention she doesnt spout off a crap ton of poetry.

So what?
It was your decision.
I made mine and am happy with my Shepards Ashley romance in ME1 and hopefully ME3.
ME2 and the Horizon scene are horrible but staying loyal to Ash is worth it. Best written and acted character in video game history imho.

lol my only beef with ashley is that she reminded me of a bowl of plain oatmeal in me1 and me2, the whole uptight army girl look was not appealing
Sorry to hear that.
I loved her character and look in ME1. (I like women in uniform. Not every mens taste.)
That cute little smile while in sickbay after telling her that her mistake wasn't a big deal. The way she opened up about herself and her family.
It wasn't until she read Tennyson that I knew there was no going back. There would never be another LI for my Shep. I never heard of Tennyson before ME1 but bought some of his work afterwards. I began to really like poetry.
She just felt so real and down to earth. Superb writing on BWs part. They brought her to life.

Not that outrageous she had two years to make up in her mind how she wanted you to be. Now she feels threathened.ashlover mark 2 wrote...

i was nice to her......she tells me she wanted to put a control chip in my brain beacuse she dosnt trust me.not cool.
People overreact so much about the control chip. I guess you never bothered to talk to her on the Normandy?
ok,soooo if someone tells you that they want to stick a chip in your brain....so she can make you into what she wants you to be instead of who your are as a human being.....thats ok?
i did talk to her on the normandy.still didnt like her all that much for other reasons.
She seemed pretty consistent to me. What inconsistenties have you found ?PseudoEthnic wrote...
Ashley. Miranda is too inconsistent
with her writing. If she was written better, I would maybe choose her(it
would mostly be a tie, with Ash edging out.) Miri's still cool(one of
my favorite characters), but she suffered from multiple writers who have
different ideas about her character.

In terms of look, Ashley wins again. Miranda hypes her body as being designed to get what she wants, like a weapon, but she never uses it for more than fan service. Miranda is pretty, but for being modeled after Yvonne Strahovski, she more than misses the mark. It's more disturbing than anything.

Whereas Ash isn't perfect, she is human. That beats the "perfection" that is(n't) Miranda, easily.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but in many game she didn't lose her ties to Cerberus.M4NST33L wrote...

It is really astonishing that this seems to about the only thing some people care about when it comes to Miranda. I find it more important that she isn't character-assassinated and turned into a Paragon.
As for inconsistency:
The appearance of inconsistency happens when a character has too many facets to be showcased convincingly with the given amount of interaction. Miranda is reserved, dedicated to the mission, rational, sometimed cold. She's also protective of her sister, keeps her promises, is surprisingly open to those she trusts. She appreciates her genetic enhancements as such but has problems with the way she got them. She has a few lines where I ask myself if the writers were stoned when they wrote them, but all in all Miranda appears complex rather than inconsistent to me.
@who would know:
If you must compare characters by pictures, please use good pictures of *both* characters. Please let me correct your impression of Miranda:
