As someone who doesn't like both characters that much, I would say Miranda. Ashley is to generic while Miranda actually has something intresting about her. (Geneticly modified)

Did you not read my brackets? Miranda is geneticly modified which gives her something unique (note: that I don't like Miranda that much). Ashley is just a random soldier. That is my opinion anyway....

I wasn't a jerk to her. It's just her personality and demeanor. Seems like Miranda just genuinely wants to be a cocky jerk. She should keep her pride in check.

That being said, she is an overall interesting character, and in some ways, I like her, but Ash is still way better.

Ash has got as much pride as Miranda and can be just as snarky and cocky (ie: Horizon)

Miranda i never really liked ash she seemed like she could be a liability so I killed her all but once on virmire. not that I hate her she just seemed like the logical choice to leave.

Miranda, I never thought Ash was interesting as a character but Miranda was an out spoken character who even if you romanced her wasn't affraid to question your decisions. I respect her character alot.

Ashley...course I am quite biased.

I love my sassy soldier. Miranda's "genetically modified perfection" shtick did nothing for me. I thought it was kind of annoying every time she brought it up. Otherwise, I liked her well enough though.

Honestly, every time I import an ME1 game into ME2, I plan to cheat on Ash with Miranda, but by the end of the game I just can't do it. Ash seems like a girl I might actually date in real life, while Miranda seems like that hot chick that you stare at all the time but never talk to.

Right now, in ME3, I see no difference between them. However, Ash has a high probability of turning into a s/s option, so she has higher chances with the crowd, I guess.

Ashley. Miranda is too inconsistent with her writing. If she was written better, I would maybe choose her(it would mostly be a tie, with Ash edging out.) Miri's still cool(one of my favorite characters), but she suffered from multiple writers who have different ideas about her character.
