between these two have to go with Ashley because new Ash is hot and she was a more interesting character then Miranda was

it is all depends on the person for me i found the following

Ashley - She acted like she was really interesting but in reality it was her relatives who are interesting not herself and the poetry was a bit out of the blue and was cute at 1st but ended up being annoying in my opinion. I do say she was the hottest in my opinion out of the ME1 characters mainly because I do not like Smurfette in that kind of way. However in ME2 she reacted poorly to what happened to shepard to such an extent I decided I did not want to purse it further.

ASHLEY SUMMARY - not actually interesting and looked the best in ME1 but acted so cold in ME2 and how she acted damaged my opinion on her.

Miranda - Ok I am biased on this one but I will concede she is ice cold at 1st but she does warm to you overtime and she does have an interesting story with her genetics, her father, cerberus, her sister and her saving your life. which is a lot better than Ashley just being her grandad, her sister and her beliefs. The romance in my opinion is the best of the bunch for the male shepard because of the development of it that even beats Tali's and Liara's. No point mentioning her looks considering she is based on and voiced by Yvonne Strahovski.

Overall - More progression to Miranda throughout the story, more of an indepth character and has the better romance in my opinion

Of course she is. BioWare cannot just cut her out. She is an LI. There would be SO MANY angry fans, INCLUDING ME.

That's true. but I wounder if she's going to be a full squad member or a part-time one.

Ashley better looking than Miranda? Surely you jest, Miranda has more personality and is way better looking then Ashley even with her "Improvements" I will always pursue a new relationship with another LI in ME2, because Ash isn't worth it.

I just wanted to get a few opinions on this. After reading that pursuing a relationship with a new squadmate in ME2 after already having a relationship with a squadmate from ME1 could have consequences in ME3 i am having trouble on deciding whether to keep my playthrough that has a relationship with Miranda or to scrap it and do a new playthrough where i don't pursue a relationship and keep it where i have only had a relationship with Ashley. Seeing as Ashley has more of a personality and Miranda has better looks (IMO), i have to good choices. I'm worried that in ME3, they are both going to be mad at me when one finds out about the other. Now, i know some bias may be involved considering i did not mention other characters like Liara or Tali but i just want opinions on whether i should go with Miranda or stick with Ashley.

It depends on what your Shepard wants more: Personality or looks. Or you can always make 2 different Shepards for each ...

I love both characters so you can't lose if you pick either.

I couldn't give a sh*t what your Shepard does, OP. They're both great, and everyone has a different opinion. Me? Multiple playthroughs, and thats what you should do if you actually do like them both.

Let's hope they dont do that to ANY character. unless they turned on Shepard due to a choice Shepard made that they didn't like. No fan should have there favourite character forced as a bad guy on them.

Comparing the most recent versions shown... Ashley has the better face and Miranda has the better body.

Though I personally prefer Ashley's poetry quirk to Miranda's 'I am perfect with an accent' quirk.

True... it would suck for Miranda fans... but we haven't really had the betrayal part that happens in bioware games yet... so, I'm just guessing it will be Miranda as of now, since we don't know anything about her role yet. She could always be redeemed a la bastilla in KOTOR. 

But gotta be honest... as long as it's not Ash or Garrus... I don't care. lol

why would Miranda lead Cerberus operatives against Shep? She's all for advancement of humanity but she wasn't on board with keeping the Collector base and (in other playthrus) had no problem going against TiM's orders. Supposedly in the demo, Cerberus operatives appear indoctrinated, I dont see Miranda being in control of that nonsense.
