Why is it that my status updates, profile feed, and What's New feed are limited to a finite number of entries? If someone comments on one of my posts, and I don't realize it until I've already posted X number additional times, then I have no way of knowing what they posted, and can't respond. Who's bright idea was THAT? It seems like an arbitrary and pointless limitation to the site, and it's bothered me for a long time. I can't be the only one who feels this way.

I agree, but sadly our profiles are limited to 10 visible items. However, all items remain there for 14 days, so if you delete some of your current stuff (perhaps stuff that no one commented on), you can make some of the older items show up again. You will still be limited to 10 though.

I just think it's arbitrary. I'd like to be able to scroll through my history a lot further back than 10 posts.

I also think the Groups Comments needs a "Jump to Latest Post" button, but that's another topic altogether...

Hell, a good, proper post history would be nice.

Well we do have that to a certain extent... but by no means optimal, especially since each link will still take you to the last thread post and not your actual post.

I'm aware. Doesn't do me much good when I have hundreds of posts in a thousand page thread with no idea where they are, or when I need to stalk dev comments.

Well I didn't know about that page, but at least I got to do some math and find out I've got somewhere close to 7,000 posts.

And there are far more prolific posters than me out there.  Kinda shocking, really.
