What is a Talimancer? I heard the term but I don't know what they are.

By definition a Talimancer is someone who chooses to romance Tali in Mass Effect 2. But, the term is usually used to describe people who are overly obsessed with Tali...like te ppl in the groups, threads, other groups, etc.

A Talimancer is a wild, rabid beast which is commonly encountered on the Bioware Social Network. They are unique animals since they are the result of an unfortunate occurence where a perfectly logical male gets infected by the Talimancus Romancus virus. This turns the human being to a drooling beast which crusades against everyone and everything who doesn't want to **** Tali, or find out what her sweat smells like. Talimancers are pack animals who group together, and they prey on anyone who doesn't like Tali.

If you encounter one in the wilds, the best course of action is to ignore it. However, if it is aggressive and tries to come at you, play dead. If you fight back, the beast will call it's pack to help him, and then you are ****ed.

People that are so opposed with Tali that they come up with a chemical analysis of her sweat trying to find out what it would smell like. People that make me not just hate Tali, but the Quarians as a whole, people who make me hate my self for being a fan of the same game they are a fan of. Right click, view image for a bigger version.

Dang, that was hilarious. I don't think I've ever seen any of these profiles mentioned, except Woo the moderator's. Anyways, those are some wierd postings. I seriously wonder why anyone would care about the chemical composition of some made-up character's sweat. Something Awful always hits up forums I remember they did one on NMA too. Anyways, I just read "Talimancer" on the postings and was curious as to what it was. I thought it was a necromancer from Guild Wars.

See, to me, it reads more a combination of "Tali" and "Necromancer"...though that may be from far too many years dedicated to Diablo 2.
