My favorite Forum of all time was probably VN board. When DAOC was popular. The best gaming forum for entertainment .. That Gametrailer. Each time I visit this forum I end up with my hand print in my face.

Hehe, I remember years back I started a thread wondering what would be beneath an Asari's head tentacle things if you peeled them back? Skin or brain? Or do they just look like you can peel them back, but are actually attached at all points? I think that's how I ended up with this picture - somebody couldn't picture an Asari's head tentacles off the top of their head.

No, this forum is mediocre at best. The level of diction, spelling, and grammar here exceeds most forums I lurk in. I also like to see the regular interaction between developers and forumites. However, the amount of flaming and trolling makes these forums far from ideal. Fortunately this site also has groups and a feed where conversation can be enjoyed away from the forums themselves. Those are much better usually, and make this site worthwhile. But the forums alone? Nooo.

TBH, I can't say if this is the best or the worst forum because this is the only one I ever been part of. But it always amazed me (in a bad way) how much bigotry and hateful speech is allowed here.
Of course, if it wasn't because I made some good friends I would have left the site long ago.

Same. Sad truth be said, you can't express your opinion here without triggering a massive fight about who's right or wrong. Your feelings towards a subject aren't respected and the ones who consider themselves the "elite" here tend to feel that their word is the last one. Heheh!

Lobi: Spirited discussion is not a massive fight. Strong opinions are not hate speech. And bigotry? Elitism?

Hmm I'ld say in terms of recent forums I've seen this one isn't so bad, but the best Forum for me was Tech TV way back a few years ago, before the dark times, before G4. When reruns of cops, and headless Networking did not run amuck. A More Civilized time.

Let me shed a tear for Leo LaPorte and Patrick Norton. I miss the Screen Savers. It still gals me to this day to think about G4 merging with TechTV, then going under, then reemerging as G4. Gee, thanks for destroying one of the few channels I loved for no good reason, G4. Gah.

Seriously though, i dun't understand the complaints about this forum. I mean, the old SC2GDF-which I hail from-was chock full of religion vs. Atheism threads, blatant homophobia, personal attacks on the mods, stat quoting, personal attacks on other forumers, the occasional on-topic conversation and advising others on how to bypass bans. I did not realize how awful that was, as that was all I knew..

But then again, the mods spoke once a month tops, we were rarely given anything to go off of, and so forth..

This forum is much, much better, I assure you.

I like the BSN a lot. Lots of fun folks to frolic around with, and some entertaining "opponents". And I also really like BioWare's games, so there's stuff to talk about.

Yeah I liked that show actully, you could learn a bit about it, but it wasn't coverd in BEWBS and that makes bad TV acording to comcast. Still pisses me off how with no warning they just axed Anime Unleashed, then top it off all thats left is X-play, and it might as well be *Insert your commercial here* play. Funny that G4's Masters raped it even more than they did TTV, at least it has one show left.  

But back on this forum, its not so bad, not a utopia, but the mods tend to be fair, and they bother trying to fix errors. And I haven't seen an attitude of snobbery from a portion of the site's members, which is a plus.

Minus some of the threads in DA:2 and now ME:3 are just stupid this site doesn't have alot of the falming others do. Like how people **** on here about Talimancers, just go to a Star Wars or Star Trek forums and insult a popular character or group, or mention the other as being better and see how long till your ass gets chewed. Or how on some forums you have a core of "veterns" who pretty much run the site, even if none of them are staff.

Maybe not the best town around, but least you won't get shot here, so to speak.
