Does this forum not have the option to search for threads ?
I really cant find the button ...

It does, look at the top of the forum, there is a magnifying glass icon, and a "go" button.
To be honest, the search funtion isnt that great on these forums, you are far better off using google, and adding a site redirector to your query.
For example, type this string into Google, and this thread will be the second one on the list.
search button site:social.bioware.com

By adding "site:social.bioware.com", you tell google, yahoo, bnog, or whoever your chosen search engine is, to restrict its answers to only those found on that particular site.
