You know, after giving it some thought, I have arrived at the conclusion that the Collectors fail basic engineering forever. Here's why: They suspend the human Reaper in a gravity-filled chamber with the same tubes they use to inject liquefied human-smoothee into said Reaper. Are they forgetting the fact that the only reason their base has gravity is because of the mass effect? Why not just turn off the artificial gravity in that part of the base?

Come on, this is ranked officially somewhere as the fifth most disappointing boss fight.
I'm surprised at how badly this is being taken. o.O

I think it should stay as a reminder to Bioware of what not to do ever again, and to us as a reminder of how even a normally great company can really muck up the writing.

Bioware releasing a patch? We've dismissed that claim

Alright, I've already admitted I don't like this boss fight, which is a matter of personal taste. I would really like to see it removed from the game altogether, but you can't seriously expect Bioware to take their time and energy from putting the finishing touches on and working on the DLC for Mass Effect 3 (not to mention beta tests and bug fixes) so that you never again have to fight this boss which, let's be honest, only takes a few minutes to beat out of a 40+ hour game anyway?
Even if they weren't working on ME3, have you ever heard of any video game company releasing an official patch that deleted a boss fight from a game (side quests don't count where applicable) that wasn't in public beta? You might see community modders doing it but that's about it...

hurrdurr I don't like something in an otherwise fantastic game, KILLITWITHFIRE.
Bioware, spend less time and energy on making Mass Effect 3 so that you can please one person who doesn't care for the final boss of one of the best games ever made. ****ing idiots here...

Hey, I'm not 'dead serious' about this. I by no means expect this to be done.
By saying I'm 'not even joking' I mean it'd be nice to have such a thing patched, and I felt like venting by making this thread.
I mean damn... so much srs bizniz in response here... very interesting. o.O
Everyone feel free to continue.
