So we all know about Mass Effect 2’s armor customization feature. As I was playing around with my own armor settings It got me thinking.
- What is everyone’s armor of choice? Do you have a favourite set? (Cerberus assault armor etc?)
- Do you prefer to keep armor sets all the same or do you like to mix and match parts ( parts of N7 with bits of kestrel etc) Do you stick to the same armor throughout the game or do you like to switch it around from time to time.
- What are your preferred colours?
- Do you customize the colour according to your environment/setting/mission or do you just pick them for fun or because they are your favourite colours?
- Do the colours have any special meaning? Or maybe you stay true to your N7 routes by keeping your armor in the familiar grey with red and white stripe.
- Do you mod/re-skin your armors?
- Are the health/shields/mêlée damage stats associated with each piece of armor important to you?
For my Femsheps I always use the kestrel armor set but I don’t use the helmet (as I think it looks a bit silly) I always wear the standard visor and the N7 helmet when in atmosphere. I like the kestrel armor since it omit’s the N7 logo. Plus I like the fact that the kestrel chest plate isn’t “moulded” to my femsheps chest. Plus as one of my play-through is a vanguard, the stats associated with that kit has helped me out of tight spots with the boost in shields.
As for colours:
- Early game Omega/Citadel: Brownish colour with darker brown “camo” pattern. (inspired by spacers/mercs, designed not to attract too much attention)
- Second half of game/suicide mission - Black in colour with the silver/grey “Stripe” pattern.
I would provide pics but I’m an Xbox player so its hard to get decent quality of my tv lol but feel free to provide your own!
