Each player generates their own canon when they play the game. The only reason why BioWare includes a so-called 'canon' is because of new players that have to start from scratch.
I won't argue that it wouldn't take up time and resources, it definitely would. As would ANY decision they make for the game. With BioWare already making money from pre-orders, and having a large enough team to be able to spread loads easily, I'm would not be worried if they make the decision to have Joker as a romance.

Sh*t, man, all you need to do to find creepy fans is hop on over to the closest romance thread. Also, if you're like "oh noes ur trollin me" the way to end that post is not with "LooooLz bring it!"

I try not to be creepy I really do,  but, sometimes...  I can't control myself and I have to tell people how I want to lick EDI's control panel or give Legion a nice wax.

As for your argument. you're completely delusional. Bioware doesnt have infinite money. they already have to pay writers, character designers, illustrators, advertisers, game modelers, game level designs, game enviroment designs, producers, creative directions, advertising costs, etc, etc.

Let's not forget the development cycle, shorter than usual. No amount of money could pay for all these useless suggestions. We have to cute the line somewhere.

I'm simply staying because I don't have anything better to do. Actually I do. I have songs to write, videos to capute, compress, edit, books to read and the list goes on. I am simply amused too much. And I wasn't trying to present any kind of "false manliness." My goals are ulterior.

Never said that they did have unlimited money. These character designers would be the ones who would do it. Joker would be a generally easy character to write as long as you can keep his mentality, which albeit doesn't really fit that of a romance at all, hence why I don't support it. The voice actors are under contract so they would have to do it if it was in the game regardless. 
Overall, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the other costs, like administration, utilities, payroll, sales expenses and even petty cash.

I agree. If they try to make everyone a romance, there simply wouldn't be enough time to make it work right and the characters stay in character.
Priority one is to make an amazing experience that everyone will love. But if 100 people come to my house to paint the porch, things are going to become a massive cluster****. It would be faster if only 5 people were doing it. (I actually just finished painting my porch today.) The job has to be big enough so that everyone on the team has something to do. A Jokermance would not take too many people, so it should be within BioWare's capabilities if they so chose. I doubt they will choose to do so, but they've surprised me in the past. No reason why they wouldn't now.

I don't know how many ways I can refute this point, so that'll you'll get it. One can argue that Joker romance wont be THAT expensive. Hell, it could be a **** dollar for all I care. I find it a wickedly stupid suggestion and I don't want Bioware wasting MY MONEY. YES, my money on that stupid sh#t!
