With the way the colors are arrayed on her in this picture, do we ever see male combat outfits being depicted in this way that emphasizes the sexuality of their bodies above all else?

I seem to remember Thane's "loyal" outfit had a white shield-shaped outline around his unmentionables.

It may not happen often, but it does happen.

Sibilla was an oracle during the roman empire (well, many oracles took the name of The Sibilla)

Sibilla would give predictions that were interpretable in VERY different ways hence the word came to be "sibillina" or in english "sybilline" when you want to describe a sentence that can be interpreted in different ways

+1 for accurate historical reference

I am not preaching (like you)

I am offering precedents and an analitical thought on Casey's sentence

you on the other hand are offering blind faith and a lovely "it is their product they can do what they want" defense

You're analysing his sentence too much.

Does somebody want to tell me what sybilline means? It sounds like a brand of cosmetics or something.

Maybe its Maybelline?

It essentially means cryptic I believe.

And, in case no one else has mentioned it yet, ENOUGH WITH THE EYEPIECES. At least make them toggle-able if you're going to foist them onto us. I never used Thane's, Jack's, Grunt's or Tali's AAs, because of the ugly eyepiece thingies. Even Miranda's got annoying. The eyepiece is not the window to the soul.

But how will they show us how sophisticated they are if not with their trusty space monocles?

...you don't get it.

It's bioware's game. Not yours. It's bioware's character, not yours. They've even confirmed in several ways that Ashley will have armor. And you're putting your fingers in your ears and singing, instead of...excuse me..."getting off of your own soapbox."

Do you think you can design Ashley better than her creators?

Are you really trying to justify the destruction of a character just because the designer decides to do so?
Oh man, now that's a thought.

When the design of the character make no sense niether for the situation at hand and the comments and ideals that the character has made before, it's not hard for me to question the competence of said designer.

And if you're asking me if i can design a better Ashley than Bioware, I'm neither do modelling or texturing.

You people are ridiculous. It's a wonder BioWare even attempts to check these forums from time to time. This is not a place for your social agendas or crybaby antics. It's a VIDEO-GAME FORUM, for God's sake. Please take your femi**** views and your entitlement issues elsewhere.

Crimzontearz, can you design Ashley better than her creators? You are one complaining consumer out of a million. Your opinion of how someone's artistic vision should be enacted means as much as any other consumer's. Can you or can't you?

Is 'can you design something better' the only argument you've got?

This is off-topic, but don't the Collectors need breathable air like everyone else? They didn't use any special equipment to adapt to the air on Horizon or anything.

And I'm not against well-done sexploitation per se. But what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I'm sure lots of folks would be happy to see Kaidan's "fig leaf" alternate outfit, especially if it had a toggle. :P

You would think the fourms would be the perfect place to express your opinion of features of the game. Or are we only suppose to express our opinion if its positive we and gush over everything bioware dose now?

Not to mention that the Protheans were the original base stock for the Collectors, and they settled on nitrogen-oxygen garden worlds like Feros. Collector lungs might have cybernetic components, but it doesn't mean they don't breathe air.

Uh...considering they kept people in there for processing it makes perfect sense they'd be oxygen. What makes little sense is there be little oxygen in the CS.
