Are we talking ME1 Shepard, or ME2 Shepard with all his/her upgrades? Because ME2 Shepard would be a little harder to take down.

I'd say Wrex and Grunt--they're heavy hitters with multiple organ systems. Really, any krogan.

I'd say Thane stands a chance, since he's clearly well-versed in human biology and hand-to-hand, but a cage would put him at a disadvantage. If there was somewhere to hide, he or Kai Leng could take care of business. Assassins make a living off of this sort of thing, after all.

Zaeed is an experienced mercenary who survived being shot in the head and is always the sole survivor. I'm not sure he could take down a fully-upgraded Shepard, but it would be awesome to watch.

Maybe if Shepard went back in time to fight his past self, he'd win since he would know all his moves.

If this was made just a couple years later, I'm sure Shepard would have had a prominent role.  As it is, I think it demonstrates the value of this thread clearly.

I'd like to see a Garrus/Shepard fight. It seems like they'd be pretty evenly matched. Same with Shepard and Zaeed, the only thing Shep would have over Zaeed is Stamina, Zaeed's at least thirty years older than Shep. And Shepard would lose to Grunt, he's an adult krogan toddler. All the energy of a toddler, all the knowledge of a battlemaster, and all the strength of a full grown.

grunt and wrex. taking a krogan in an even fight where they know you're coming is stupid. Thane and Zaeed are possible, but strike me as even matches.

I engadged in hand to hand combat with a big russian guy, doesn't mean I can kick anyones ass. Shepard didn't beat the Shadow Baker in a hand to hand fight they just fought. And Shepards attacks didn't seem to do much other than annoy the baker.

I think that Shepards LI, whomever it may be, would probably be able to do it without his knowing quite easily.

But in a stand up fight...
It depends on the circumstances, like Shepard's combat class, the environment (long distance, mid range, close quarters, with or without cover) and a bunch of other things.

Depends on how extensive Shepard's cyborg mods are. It might never be an even playing field. We see Shepard fight Yahg and pick up steel beams like they're nothing.

ME1 Shep though, I'd say the krogans have him beat. Garrus would probably lose, but it would be a fun fight. Thane might out class Shepard in skill. Miranda would win by playing dirty.
