Where are you getting this from, really? I just want to know. I'm seriously interested, I will not even try to debate with you whether 'unrepentantly evil' is three-dimensional or two, I just need to know why in the world you think that Morinth is not a rapist.

This is how it went in my recent renegade playthrough: John Shepard picks up Morinth in a bar. They talk about power and art. They go home to Morinth. They talk some more about safety, Morinth climbs into John's lap.

John Shepard: (renegade option) You keep talking about how you're so powerful (might not be the exact wording, don't remember) but you're nowhere near my league.
Morinth: So strong... I need this *her eyes go black, which indicates she is using biotics and/or gearing up for a meld* Look into my eyes and tell me you want me. Tell me you'd kill for me. Anything I want.
John: *doesn't have enough renegade points to resist her* I want you... I'll kill for you (she is mind-controlling him now. everything she does to him is non-consentual from now on, and any sex they might have is rape because he is under the influence of mind-control)
Morinth: *leans closer* Relax... This will all be over soon...
Samara: *barges through the door dramatically*

How is what she is doing to Shepard not attempted rape? Explain.

people like vampires, morinth is pretty much a vampire.............personally though I actually Saved her in my fem renegade playthrough because she's more useful to her, that is all that is important to Yelena, its why she chose ash instead of kaidan, more useful as she is not as Moral as Alenko

Even if Morinth is a rapist it doesnt make her less of a good squad mate.

It isn't attempted rape because it was consensual. The whole setup was that you flirted with her because you were attracted to her. She doesn't know that you know that having sex with her would result in death. The mind control thing is just what she did when she was sexing someone. In this case it would be like a spy cozing up to someone to get some information of something from them. They really did not want to have sex but it was just a part of the mission. Morinth does not know that you really do not want to have sex with her since you are playing along. In order for it to rape, she would have to know that you did not want it and force it upon you. Her adding mind control is just like people liking rough sex or something.

Morinith is the type to seduce and make you want her not to force herself on people.

She is intelegent, badass and egoistic. In other words she is very capable and there for me and not mission.
