didn't they have dx11 and a hi res pack for da2? if so i dont see why they wouldn't have them for me3EternalAmbiguity wrote...
Not TOO likely, because s/s was just extra dialogue, nothing more. A DX11 patch would require a whole lot more work. I wouldn't mind it, though, if my PC could ever run it.

As long as it doesn't require ridiculously high rig requirements.

Also I hope they fix the "movie" loading screens. It took me forever to learn to fix them.

And ME3 is Unreal 3 I believe, not 2.

Does Unreal 2 support DX11? That's going to be the determining factor. Graphics are only as good as the engine that runs them, and if Unreal 2 can't do it, then it won't be a feature of ME3.

So you're gonna stick with your GMA950 forever? Don't take it as an offense but you should really consider upgrading one day. And when that day comes, you'll be badly surprised that the good ol' ME3 isn't looking any better on ur Radeon 9990. Why? Just because you're used to judge in the terms of the current day.Warheadz wrote...
I don't have DX11, so no thanks. And I think the graphics are fine already...

Obviously I don't think so. I want kick ass games. Graphics to me are just as important as story and gameplay. The cheap and crappy console ports are not what I am waiting for. So keep doing the PC fans a favor and push for the lowest denominator.mrcrusty wrote...

DX 11 is pointless unless it's built like that from the ground up.
Most games are built on DX 9 or some other outdated API to cater for consoles, then upscale a few effects like tesselation for PC on DX 11. Leading to massively taxing games that don't noticeably look better than their DX 9 counterparts.
The great benefit of DX 11 is in it's efficiency improvements and support for multithreading and parallel processing. Which are almost always made moot if not designed to take advantage of them properly.
Tesselation is a gimmick, DoF is not DX 11, neither is AA or high res textures.
Remember Witcher 2 was made on DX 9 and Dragon Age 2 has DX 11. Run both on max and tell me which game looks better.
But when Battlefield 3 comes out, I think we'll see some progress in this area.

I would like Dynamic lighting and cinematic lights to be sorted out first.
Its the only game I know of (well, off the top of my head) where lowering the graphic settings actually make the game look better.

DX11 and the high-res texture pack were unrelated. DX11 was selectable before the download. Also, DX10 cards have some DX11 compatibility. You can select the DX11 renderer and play on high settings.KingNothing125 wrote...
They had something like this for the PC version of Dragon Age 2. The high-res texture pack download let you select DX11 in the graphics configuration menu, but since I only have a card capable of DX10 at the moment, I couldn't tell you what kind of a difference it actually made.
But yeah it would be nice. Signed.
