I support this wholeheartedly. I've played ME2 more times than I can count, and having to sit through the into every time is an annoyance. Perhaps the 1st time have it un-skippable. But after that, skipping becomes available.
Also, I support the differentiated button skipping, and button accepting. I hate accidentally choosing a dialogue answer while trying to skip.

1. OMFG I'm crying!
2. Damn, that intro DOES kick butt
3. Talk along with anything that is said like one would with the Big Lebowski or Resevoir Dogs (dude!)
4. reply after anything said with "stfu Donny"
5. Tab out for as long as it runs, go **** on BSN about the damn intro not being skippable.
6. repeat 5.
7. repeat 5
8. start game, do the talking, get joker, make dinner, eat, make character hoping that the ****ing helped
9. repeat 5
10. refuse to start yet another game because the intro is so damn long and by the time you're through the intro I lost my want to play.
15 hours my eye. My shortest play though is 25 hours and I didn't do any of the N7 missions. But then I don't skip scenes. To me they are the best part, besides blowing stuff up.The PLC wrote...
If you seriously have the time to replay a 15 hour game 30 times, why can't you sit through the 30 minute intro? It's got nothing to do with the fact that you can't make a difference. You're just being impatient.Ryzaki wrote...
...Oh yay hyperbole.
Because a scene that never changes regardless is the same as a scene where the player can make a difference eh?
edit: sorry dujh, I didn't see your post. But if it's just the Normandy being blown up part, we're talking 10 minutes!
skipping scenes and dialog really cuts down the time it takes to do a playthroughladyvader wrote...

I never skip dialog or cutscenes, I am content in sitting through them that is part of experiencing the story
