I'm looking for a fun build for my female rogue. I'm not good at building and usually play on normal (which is why I'm not sure about using the resourceful nightmare guides). I currently had a build planned like this:

http://biowarefans.c...G0R1sHjCIpLxTny

With level 6 and 8 using a tome from hightown and a potion from the DLC..The idea I had was to have Devious Harm and quick talents that would give auto crits pretty much.

I only gotten to level 13 so far in Dragon Age 2 before restarting to try other classes and play with the builds and see which personaity I like best. So I haven't beaten it yet. So, my build probably isnt good and doesnt take in account other tomes.

With this build so far, at level 9, normal has became alittle too easy. I tried hard and it was a lot more challanging and fun, but a bit too hard sometimes (look at me, complaining about hard being hard lol). I felt like maybe my build is lacking and such.

I pretty much want a fun rogue that would work on hard. I'm lame and don't want to touch nightmare, friendly fire and such with my mages. But, like I said, normal is too easy right now.

I'm a little new at building and such too, so try to go easy on me lol I'm still simple-minded in this area. I just feel like I would enjoy the game more if I made use of the skill trees better.

(I miss dual wielding warrior in orgins)

--------

So., alot of text there, sorry. Pretty much, I want a fun build for that will be alright in hard. Thank you for any help.

A few other things that would be cool to compare to/questions:

How is it playing a stealth base rogue with the early stealth tree and shadow? Any fun builds for this would be great as well.

Anders is pretty much my healer, plus he has haste, any advice?

One last one, I swear, sorry, a non-tank damager warrior would be cool as well.

Thanks for reading and sorry for more questions than I planned.

Hello the builds in the sticky post that refer to nightmare playthrough cover all difficulties below it.
Your build looks ok to me i personally would drop "reversed grip" and "perforate" from the dual weapon tree the cooldown reduction isnt needed. also again personally i would also drop some points from duelist "riposte" "en guard" and "evasive maneuvers" on hard or normal settings these arnt required,
as soon as you have enough dex to equip end game daggers i believe its around 41 points then everything else will pretty much go into cunning which increases your defence to its highest potential.

These saved points can be added to the specialist tree gaining the "harmony" talent and then "lightening speed"

If your having massive threat problems which shouldnt cause problems on lower settings then you can pick up 1 or 2 points in subterfuge like evade or stealth.

The build would look something like this biowarefans.com/dragon-age-2-talent-builder/#rzYMcktEDCeH1GIjpLTtelBFDHs with maybe a couple of points left over

Thank you PlayingWithKnives, I wasn't real sure if the cooldowns were important or not.

And, you too Aralex. I guess I was just unsure because it was nightmare guide. But, it makes sense now that I think about it. This is what I get for staying up playing dragon age too long. I'll look at your guide now, like I should have. lol And ask any questions I have afterwards on that thread.

Thank you, sorry for my denseness.
