It's missing the "Tabby Kitten" gift quest. This is an unforgivable omission. I keep my money.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking!  I smiled when I read 'deep roads safari'.

What do you mean?  Like from the beginning of the game when you first encountered them?

can't wait to see how Bioware implemented the badass genlock artwork into the game. They better have gotten them to look awesome. Because if they didn't, I'll end up wanting the gremlins again.

And I hated the gremlins in Origins.

I liked the goblin-like genlocks - they fit more the "twisted version of original race" concept. If the DA:Legends version is the new genlock, I won't be happy - genlock <> gorilla.

I think the gorilla look fits the concept just fine. It's not like a massive size difference between an original race and its darkspawn counterpart is unprecedented. See ogres. I like to think in the genlocks' case, their upper body grew disproportionately compared to the lower body, leading to the shift in posture. And their faces look more reminiscent of the original dwarves than the goblin-locks' faces do.

Of course, all in concept, anyway. They could end up looking terrible in-game. We may find out tomorrow.

That is true - if they aren't massively larger than normal dorfs (some increase in size can still fit), then that idea can work.

Also, the DA:L genlocks aren't exactly... high-res textures...

We shall see.

And then my jaw hit the floor.

Bioware, whoever edited that trailer, GIVE THAT PERSON A RAISE! That trailer was more exciting then 90% of anything you'll see before a summer. That was a damn perfect trailer. It had everything. Action. Mystery. People glowing. Things glowing. Familiar faces (Party members, brontos...hey, is that Justice?!). Unfamiliar faces. Threat. Danger. Excitement.

Goddamn.

No DLC could live up to this. But what a fun ride while it lasts.

Bioware made genlocks move like gorillas, and it works splendidly. They listened to me! They really listened!

Now all I need is a gorilla companion and I will crawl to Bioware's HQ in Canada with a gorilla on my back and an epic beard on my face.

oh that's definitely the Archetect. Or the Archetect's twin brother. Or maybe his brother-in-law. Or his 2ed cousin.

Alright, I got nothing, I admit it, but it sure LOOKS like the Architect.
