Greetings travelers,
My first post. I've just started playing Dragon Age and love it! I am, however, stuck. I'm in the Burning Tower and have gotten the mouse, fireguy and spirit transformation. Now, I can't see to get past the doors that say they can't be opened but with brute strength.
Am I going in the right direction here??
Thanks and happy hunting!
I need help in The Burning Tower of Mages

yes you are, but you need the golem form from whatever node is in the lower right...mages asunder i think? travel through that one and you should find that form (which is rather powerful).
btw there are a TON of attribute increasing items scattered round the fade and most of them are hidden. i highly recomment googling a list of all the items and using it s a checklist to make sure you get the most out of that game segment.

The fade sequence includes lots of backtracking as you need all forms to pass every door.

I am in a similar spot. Didn't realize trying to get the Mages to help with the Redcliff quest would entail such a big deal. Thanks for the Wikia link, that looks mighty helpful.

yeah thats one reason why i usually do the mages' quest first. that and it gives you a ton of attribute boosts in the fade so those really kickstart my character. depending on who you are travelling with you may or may not wish to save connor AND isolde. i think allistair, leliana, and wynne give approval increases with this path but sten and maybe even morrigan LOSE approval because it takes so much extra work as opposed to just slaying connor.

That is a long section of the game. Have to fight all the way up the tower: then get caught in the Sloth demon's domain and have to figure a way out; then have to defeat Uldred.
But the ability to morph into the various forms is pretty cool. Too bad those forms disappear after you defeat the Sloth demon.

Here's a thing.. search "Skip the Fade" on DA nexus and get it, load a older save game and you don't have to worry about getting lost in the fade ever again.

Bah, the fade isn't that bad. Just bring a character who isn't made of glass.
After Nature of the Beast, Broken Circle is the shortest of the 4 main treaty quests. A Paragon of Her Kind and Arl of Redcliffe/Urn of Sacred Ashes are twice as long if not more.
If people are getting burned out from the fade, try to play other games in between Dragon Age playthroughs. It helps to take breaks before coming back to this.

"The one good thing about the deep roads is that you never run out of darkspawn to fight" - Sigrun
If you happen to enjoy killing stuff, then at least Orzammar gives you that, whether it's angry nobles, casteless, undead, darkspawn and golems. Better sharpen your blades beforehand.

Broken Circle is awesome! I personally find the Nature of the Beast quest the most boring because it's over so damn quick and it's such an easy boss fight with either decision.

Hello, I have gotten all the the transformation, and defeated most of the demon guarding Sloth, I trying to go defeat Rhagos, but they are like alot of Shambling corpses guarding the door to him, and their are immune to fire and that mostly all the skill I have got. So I was wondering if there's like an appropriate shape that would deal easily with them.

This is an excellent guide for the fade, and even suggests how to defeat Rhagos & others
http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/66/index/517400* In the room northwest of that is Rhagos. Use Burning Man to fight him so that you don’t take fire damage, but use normal attacks (he is immune to fire attacks). Crushing Prison is also good. Once he’s dead, examine the Font of Strength (18).
