I've got a few important questions about it. Firstly, it's obvious that one will be able to transfer an ME2 save to ME3, right? Will a similar expansion be released (or even be included as part of the initial release) for ME3? How many of the "key choices" made in Genesis/ME1 will reach far into ME3 (i.e. It's rumoured that the Rachni Queen will "assist" in some way if spared, given the cryptic-yet-blatantly obvious message delivered in ME2)? Which of the "non-key" choices are considered canon (ex. How was Helena Blake "dealt with"? What about Conrad Verner?).
Where's the Genesis FAQ?

Casey said they were going to do a "story so far" thing like genesis for ME3.
There is no more "canon" playthroughs, just our personal stories.

Conrad and Blake do not exist in a genesis import. Basically, if it is not covered in the actual comic, it did not happen (I think, they do mention feros, and that is not in the comic).
I really can't say if they will decide to plop em in for ME3.

I think every choice you made in Genesis will have a profound effect on Mass 3. We can go over them and what I believe those choices to do...
Ashley or Kaidan? It seems to me that the VS is pretty much just male or female VS. Which is strange since Ashley and Kaidan were very different characters, but I guess I understand- The military doesn't care who you are, as long as you got the job done and they more or less got the same job done. I think the only thing that this'll affect is romance options.
Rachni Queen- Alive or Dead? I'm sure that both sides have its plusses and minuses. I mean, we know that if you saved the Rachni Queen, there'll be Rachni around... And we know that there will be Rachni Husks (as said in the GameInformer). So saving her will create even more enemies for Shepard to face. But on the other hand, she herself may show up and make a difference for the better in endgame. Very tossup.
Wrex- Alive or Dead? We all figure that Wrex being alive is probably the correct choice, but is that true? I'm sure that he'll likely make a positive difference in Mass 3... In a certain way. I'm not sure what that way is, but here's my thoughts: During Mass 2, I've done playthroughs with Wrex alive and dead. The way Gatatog Uvenk talks about how Wrex is weakening the Krogan by his ideas about breeding more and training less, it makes me wonder. I know Uvenk is a ****head, but that doesn't mean that his points aren't valid. Perhaps the Krogan would be more willing to fight the Reapers in Mass 3 if Wreav is in charge? And perhaps they'd be more diplomatic-like if Wrex is around? I get the feeling that the effect of that will be a MASSive one.
Destiny Ascension- Saved or Destroyed? So far, not much has been different here, other than "ah yes, reapers" and actually SEEING the council if you saved them. But I'm very much guessing that the trial will be quite different depending on who's on the council- Aliens or Humans. We'll see.
Anderson or Udina? As we've seen, even if Anderson is the councilor, he'll escape the trial with Shepard to the Normandy. It might be useful to have a councilor on the ship... But at the same time, it could be a giant pain in the ass. Lots more beauracracy to deal with there. Then again, Udina would likely be having a blood rage power boner going on back at the Citadel if you don't go back and straight up talk to him. Not sure. But it is explicitly stated in Genesis that Udina is a career politician, motivated, etc. It could be a good plan to put him in charge, he may be able to sway an extra race to join you against the Reapers. Maybe that's the rub- Perhaps whichever one you choose is able to persuade a different faction to join Shepard. In which case- AWESOME.
VS, Liara, or Neither? Again, I'm sure that this will likely only affect the Romance choices in Mass 3 and will make your Mass 2 romance either pissed off or placated. I'd like to see some catfights in mass 3, so I romance Ashley just to cheat on her with Jack (I love Jack and am looking forward to seeing her wipe the floor with Ashley).

It would not suprise me if conrad held the gun backwards and tried to fire at the reapers.... because conrad is saving the galaxy and does not have time for training!........Dont you get it?...hes doing the best he can!
