About to run my second playthrough as a Shortbow (dexfix) archer. Are there any armors or clothing I should really keep an eye out for, for Zevran/Lel/my PC? (Meaning no/sub-17 Str requirements.) The only one of note I recall by the end of the game was the Drakescale stuff, and aside from the fact that you only get two suits of it (or most people do; I only ended up with 4 scales, somehow, and I KNOW I looted that whole damn cave), it looks pretty terrible.
On a similar note: hoods for Morrigan that do not look like they belong on a level 30 Shaman in greens in WoW? Wynne made out well, but all of the Circle of Mages hats look dorky with Morrigan's default/sidequest robes.
Side note: I really appreciate Archery now after playing with Leliana a lot towards the end of my first play, even before the dexfix. I like how Archery's toggles are set-up so you shouldn't have them all running, but actually need to switch based on the fight - mooks, high mobility fights (Rapid Shot), stand-in-place bosses (Aim), semi-mobile boss fights (Suppression) - it works out much better than it did for Shield Warriors, who essentially should always run Shield Defense (before Shield Mastery) or Shield Wall (after Shield Mastery.)
Clothing for Dex/Cun rogues.

You'll want to go for 22 strength to be able to wear all the tier 7 light armor (the drakescale stuff requires 20 strength). I wouldn't bother about the drakescale stuff. The drakescale light armor is rather weak and it's better to get massive drakescale armor instead for your tank (if you plan to run with one).
There are some really nice pieces of light armor:
- The Long Sight (Helmet) from the High Dragon
- Cadash Stompers (Boots) from the quest from Shale in the Deep Roads
- The Felon's Coat (Chest) from Wade in Denerim which appears after you did 2 of the treaty quests
- Red Jenny Seekers (Gloves) from the assassination quests
You probably want Far Song to be your bow eventually (though you can only get it after the landsmeet has been called, so you might not be bothered so much). It's a longbow though, but it has no equal in this game. To get it you have to perform a somewhat evil act early on in the game to be able to get this bow at the end of the game.
If you go with your PC, zev and lel in one party you are probably going to have a lot of trouble equipping them all though. You will all need the same gear and there is so very little rogue gear...
