What specialization will you be starting out towards?

I'm thinking duelist it's hard to pass up defence/offence/and damage that you mostly don't have to micromanage.

Champion/berserker. The others don't fit my role.

bloodmage, maybe arcane warrior or shapeshifter as secondary, but definetly a bloodmage as soon as possible.

I want to try Templar, however I don't know what attributes I should go for. Str and Constitution are a given, but what about Cunning, Willpower and Magic (Templa gets +2 to Magic).

Although I'd really want to go Berserker/Reaver for my first playthrough. I'm playing a good natured Dwarf Noble, so I might have to settle for Berserker/Champion for'im.

Yea, I don't really see the point of the +magic for Templars. Maby their second skill has to do with magic?
Willpower gives you stamina, which you need for your talents. And cunning is just needed for the talking-skills, you don't need alot of that as a warrior (16 max)

edit: Added in the quote.

I ended up skipping Magic and Cunning, went 15 in Willpower. Stamina for skills is essential and the idea of strong Will suits Templars nicely. Thx for help!

Depending...

Mage -> AW
Rogue - Assassin
Warrior -> erm....Reaver/Zerker...though only during the 2nd playthrough when I wont need to unlock Reaver due to SPOILERS for which I will not mention.

Awww man after reading the specialisations Rogue -> Assassin -> Duelist sounds nasty. Pinpoint makes all your attacks crit for a short period...*backstab crit galore!*

I like assassin, but it doesn't really fit the character I plan to develop. So, maybe Bard instead.

I will probably start with an assassin and then try out a ranger. After that, who knows?

Champion. Maybe templar if I feel like it. (Warrior first play through)

After that, I'll probably play a Rogue, so I'll be looking for Ranger.

The mage specializations just don't appeal to me for a main character. I'll probably pass on being a spell slinging dress wearing sissy. :D

My main would probably be best fit by duelist or ranger. I'll chose when I see the options in game. Gotta admit though, until I get up to the first specialization, I'm gonna have a very odd character, lawful good rogue.

My city elf rogue will most likely end up a duelist. I don't see assassin or bard fitting her personality, and I have a feeling that after a few missions out battling Darkspawn in the middle of various nowheres she's going to be too sick of nature to be a ranger.

I'm looking at reaver for my human noble warrior, but since I don't know yet if that involves actually making a pact with a demon, I have reservations. My warrior doesn't trust anybody but herself, least of all some greedy denizen of the Fade. :o Berserker is her backup.

I'm going to try for Mage -----> Shapeshifter ---------> Arcane Warrior if I can, at least on my first playthrough.

Spirit healer, then Arcane Warrior. Pure staying power, mixed with various mana regen spells, makes otherwise impossible fights winnable. Mix in yet another spirit healer, and I can cast mass heal every 10 seconds, resurrect every minute, and an endless supply of vicious attack spells, and spells to support my bard/warrior. Dragon fire might as well be a refreshing breeze.
