Hey guys I am just doing some of the personal missions for some of my squad members. I am a bit worried about jack's mission. She wants me to destroy the seberous facity. Can someone tell me what are the conquences of destroying that facility? also does miranda react to this if so what is her reaction?

Thanks

It's long been shut down, so TIM doesn't care if you blow it up. Miranda claims it 'wasn't Cerberus' but a rogue cell. Destroying the base isn't really a choice, but an inevitability.

It should be blown to pieces. But in any case, Miranda will only have a negative reaction if you already procured her loyalty. After both Miranda and Jack are loyal, they'll have a fight over if Jack was wronged by Cerberus.

You then have a choice... Side with Jack or Miranda? Siding with one loses the loyalty and romance-ability of the other. But if you're high enough Paragon or Renegade you can stop the fight peacefully and preserve their loyalties and possible romances. (FYI- Jack is the correct choice if you don't have high enough paragon/renegade. Miranda's more of a ****)

Ya... had to choose between Jack and Miranda.
Wouldve chose Miranda but she was a jerk to Jack.
Then Miranda wouldnt talk to me for the rest of the game...talk about holding a grudge.

Serves Miranda right as she died in my suicide mission. hahah!

If you do Jack's quest you blow it up automatically.

Jack and Miranda have a fight if you do both their loyalty quests. You can tell the two of the to cram it (renegade/paragon choices) or you have to side with someone (I side with Miranda because Jack is the one acting aggressive in said situation).

Hate to say it, but wasn't Miranda's behavior the provoking factor into Jack's main display of aggression (throwing the chair)?

Most certainly. Miranda was being an unnecessarily un-understanding biitch about it and it pissed Jack off. After all the ****'s Jack gone through, especially the range of emotions that she went through during her loyalty... You'd think that Miranda, as a ****ing XO, would have much more tact than that. Nope.

And THAT is why I kill her almost every suicide mission.

mmm, cant bring myself to feel sorry for that thing. its multi-gender, full of tattoos, wears a belt for a blouse, goofy hearing aid, and constantly complains about its life. for example on the loyalty mission you have to listen about how tough it is for surviving all this, how it makes it so sad, and a handful of boring stories. i just cant be drawn to characters that complain about their virtual life nonstop,

lol sorry but ill choose miranda over jack anyday, atleast i can tell what gender she is, and thats why i kill it every suicide mission.

Well, to be fair, Jack was brutally beaten, tortured, drugged, etc. for pretty much her entire life and when she finally DID escape her first experience in the outside world was, what did she say? Raped and sold to slavers? I think she gets to complain a little and gets a pass for being a little screwed up in the head.

I've never had to choose between the two, but I would side with Jack. I mean, I'll grant you that she probably charged into Miranda's cabin uninvited which would put Miranda on edge, but again, Miranda is supposed to be second in command only to Shephard. It boggles my mind how absolutely horrendous she is at diplomacy.

Yeah, you're an idiot, Commando. Obviously you haven't put any effort into actually getting to know the characters in general, you judge them based on their appearance. If you actually took the time to have real conversations with Jack and even romance her, you'd realize that she's an immensely deep character with real reasons to be the way that she is. ****ed up since she was a baby, she seriously has had the worst life of any of the characters in the game and honestly just wants to have some sense of normalcy. Because the universe has ****ed her up inside, I'm guessing she psychologically wanted to **** herself up on the outside by getting the tattoos and stuff.
Her romance is one of the best in the game. She really opens up and she's honestly the only tangible romance option for a male Shepard. As much as I like Tali... She's just not a real romance option for me. It's just... odd and awkward. Garrus' romance is awkward, too, but it seems to be more likely to me than Tali's. Miranda's just the biggest **** known to mankind, so there's that. Even Renegade Shepard would prefer Jack to Miranda, Jack's more of a renegade than anyone... "But Adept," you say, "Paragon Shepard must not like Jack then, right?" Wrong. Dead ass wrong. Jack opens up in such a beautiful way through a Paragon Romance that it just is... Amazingly written. It's not one of those "hey why the hell not, we're on a ship together" kinds of things (Unless you do the casual sex earlier... But that's messed, don't do that ****) like most of the other romances *cough*VS, Jacob, Miranda, Liara*cough*

I agee with eveything you said. Jack was my favorite companion in Mass Effect 2. I love that woman. Her personal quest was the deepest compaion quest I ever played beyond those companions quest in DAO, DA2.
I took Jack eveywhere with me

I do like how they fleshed out Jack's character, but with the way she acts I tend to envision her genitals as like a venus flytrap and... well, do I really need to finish that mental image? I mean, I did eventually do a playthrough with her as the LI, and it was really sweet and all that garbage but it still feels like getting to that point was forced. Then again, different strokes for different folks and all that.

I've honestly like Tali the most because given the choice between sociopathic ex-con, control-freak arrogant b****, and brilliant, selfless engineer I'd go with the engineer.
