Bought the game 2 weeks ago and i just got my netsetup ect and i cant, and i have tryed almost everything to connect to the dragons age servers in game and it just wont login i put email in and password and click login and it just says connecting to dragons age servers and stays there for freakin ever
PLEASE HELP ME IM PISSED OFF TO TEARS BECAUSE OF THIS.

I'm having the same problem and have been having this problem since day 1. I emailed EA support over a week ago and never received a response. I've also tried every possible fix that's been suggested on the forums and nothing has fixed it. I think those of us in this situation are stuck without DLC for the time being.

Check your firewall. I never had an issue, but I also made an exception for DAO in my Firewall. Or, just to make sure, try disabling your firewall and see if you can log in.

I can't speak for ViRuS2k9, hopefully that will work for him - but it didn't work for me. I tried completely bypassing my router and it didn't change anything. I'm also not running any software firewalls or antivirus type programs. And I also don't have any special characters in my password or anything of that nature. And the updater service is running and appears to be working just fine. No clue what could be causing this issue in my case. I think it's hilarious that it's been 9 days since I've sent an email to EA's customer support and still haven't received any kind of response.

So far EA's tech support has focused almost entirely on network problems that prevent people from accessing DLC, rather than on network problems that shut down the entire game. I've been trying to find an answer to this problem since launch day. See my post here. I encourage you to call EA phone support and explain the problem you're experiencing.

Well this has got to be the pain in the ass of all pains in the ass`s,
for the life of me i can not login to dragon age network servers in game.
had the game for over 4 pissing bloody weeks and cant access any online features what so ever
and i bought the collectors edition for the DLC stuff and i cant get it HAHAAH what a bloody joke this is.

one other thing was speaking to tech support, and my issue is still here they couldnt help me and i have now got a message on my email with the status unresolved LOL and its been 4 days and no freaking updates to my problem....
never again will i buy a bioware / EA game.

OK finaly i figured out that the problem is nothing to do with me what so ever.
its a BIOWARE/ EA issue.
with my registered account auih77 @ gmail.com i cant login to the servers online
but i just created a new account and here is the kicker, i was able to login useing that account no problem
but you see my game and DLC extra`s are all tied to the original account i made
so who the hell do i see to fix this pickle cause its on there end thats causeing me problems not my end or my firewall or AV ect ect..
there really dealing with my problem slowly i will tell ya that, never been treated this way by a company.
its a BIOWARE/ EA issue.

There is a known where accounts with certain special characters in the password are unable to log into the game. If your password has special characters you might want to try removing them from the password to see if that helps. You can change your password under the Manage Accounts link on the login prompt within the game.

No special characters here, my password is comprised of letters and numbers.

After installing wardens keep.. I have about the same issue...
When I start Dragons Age, I am able to login ok.. but when I try to load a saved game or start a new game.. it says I need to login...
It acts as if my account does not have the DLC that I purchased associated to it.
