Also man so many Asari would slap so many people in this thread for saying that their kids weren't "legit". Jeez.
alright thats true but really what i mean by "legit" is your own DNA is in the child like you can see that the kid has your chin, eyes, nose, etc. (my main LI is liara anyway)

I'm pretty sure that'd be way at the bottom of the list, far below "heal facial scars", so I don't believe it would have been done by the time he/she came back. As noted, I'm sure it's fixable, given time and money.
Uh...I'm pretty sure the reproduction bits would've been done *before* the face seeing as they'd have to work with his insides. They were supposed to restore him to stock with a few extra bits. I'm pretty sure if Shep was fertile to begin with he/she's fertile now.
It's more than likely already fixed. They were pretty much done with Shepard by the time the attack happens. The face can be healed on the Normandy. They probably just needed to add his/her scars if they had any and take away the scarring from the procedure.
They do make a point in saying Shep's pretty much the way he/she was with an extra few bits.

Doesn't work the same way. They litterally explain that Asari don't "get pregnant" the same way humans do. They don't have to bump uglies, they have to do that whole "Embrace eternity" thingy ma bob with their mind.
Thus, shepard needs not be capable, nor male, to have "little blue children" with Liara ;p
I seem to recall Shpard 'embracing eternity' with Liara quite a bit in the conference room after every major mission. Right in front of everyone.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's a little blue bombshell in Shepard's future. Which will be really awkward if they weren't actually in a relationship.

I'm sure it's more likely they gave him a bit of a size boost. FemShep too but a bit higher. :innocent:

Unlikely - kids with Miranda. She definitely found out if her condition might be cured before, and since she's so desperate, chances are slim, at best
Not confirmed anywhere but I seriously doubt Jack is fertile after all she's been through
Nothing was told about Ashley

Even if you need
I don't mean to stare
We don't have to breed
We can plant a house
We can build a tree
I don't even care
We can have all three

Also, Miranda's fertility issue baffles me. It's future, you don't have to be fertile to father children. All you need is a scrap of skin. You could take DNA samples from over a dozen people, or just from one, and create a child. That's how Miranda herself was born. Does this mean that she has something like genophage in her DNA? I don't really understand.

There are millions humans back on Earth, if Shepard wants kids. He better hurry and save humanity, or else he'd be stuck with Ashley.

I think it means either one of two things:
(1) Miranda can't get pregnant. But she can still have children who are genetically hers. Perfectly normal children. Her condition is structural (deformed ovaries, etc.), not genetic.
(2) Miranda has some built in genetic abnormality that causes any genetic children of hers to die before they were born. Something like the genophage, a built-in feature "designed" by her father.
Personally I think (2) is much more likely, giving her more parallels to Grunt.

Unless the necessary sex bits got replaced with something that can't do the job, why not? Having metal in you doesn't make you sterile.Filament wrote...
Shepard's a cyborg, I'm not sure s/he could have kids even with a reproductively viable human.

MaleShep->
Liara- Asari kids, but still kids
Ashley- No reason it wouldn't work
Miranda- No can do, she's sterile
Jack- Possible, but what with all of the experimentation it's not likely
Tali- Very doubtful, Quarians have a completely different type of DNA it's fairly impossible
FemShep->
Liara- Asari children
Kaidan- No reason for this not to work
Jacob- Again, would make sense
Thane- Doubtfull, I'm not sure that a Drell/Human has ever been born. Or any human/alien hybrids
Garrus- Same reason with Tali, different DNA.

Yeah, I always figured it was some kind of genetic DRM by her father. GRM? Whatever.
Anyway, only one of my Sheps is even straight, and she wants kids like she wants a hole in the head, so it's all pretty moot for me, but given that a) Miranda was in charge of the reconstruction and

a) Ashley (human and healthy)
c) Jack (possibly. I believe the experimentation is an issue but not a dealbreaker)
Couldn't work with:
d) Miranda (she's sterile, though she could have a baby through genetic reproduction)
e) Tali (she probably wouldn't survive the Joining (ha! DA reference) and if she did her DNA would screw it up)
This is assuming Shepard is male and doesn't include DLC's.

Extremely good reasoning for Shepard to be fertile. I doubt she would want anyone else to go through that.
