The tome location list that's floating around states that the shopkeeper at Haven has it...except he doesn't. I think I've read somewhere that you have to side with the Cult, and after that this shopkeeper sells it. I've went through Haven a few times now, and I have yet to find the tome...
Can anyone confirm that you have to side with the Cult in order to purchase this tome? If not, where do you actually find it? So far, searching forums hasn't produced anything conclusive.

If anything, it probably requires visiting him later in the game. Which might mean siding with them if he doesn't dissapear at the end. It also might mean holding off on Haven until later.

I've never found the shopkeeper again after completing the urn quest, whether I sided with the cult or not.

Thanks, I was contemplating whether I should pick up an old save and go through the Cult quest to see if siding with them changed anything. I'm guessing that means that the tome exists as part of the files but isn't actually accessible in-game.
I can live with that. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
