]Yeah. Most their DLC (even LotSB, that everybody gushes over for whatever reason) isn't that long, although they can pack some good gameplay in (although, I think that depends who the designers are; DLC more often gets done by the B and C teams, I think, not the A team that actually made the game, and it can really, really show IMO).
I'm guessing it'll be a solid hour long DLC. Maybe an hour and a half as it seems like there's a lot of stuff to do, and quite possibly a few side quests.
I was going to ask if they could nudge Fernando to give a cast list. I doubt there would be much dialogue because of the need to get all the VO lined up (my guess it'll just be Nick/Lady Hawke and whatever actor for the antagonist they get from their very small pool of actors they use over and over and over).
Some companions' VAs have made vague hints that they returned for additional recording. Expect Bethany/Carver to have some lines definitely. And considering the nature of the Conductor, who is an intelligent Darkspawn, it's quite possible Anders may say something too. Maybe Varric will have a few lines as well if this has some Cassandra-Varric dialogue, which I would hope so as there wasn't enough of that imo.
I think, tying in to #2, it's unlikely anybody in the game will respond. They don't lightly modify the base campaign (not even to fix it), and they'd have to get the actors back and record them the same way (the last thing you want is different quality or volume or whatever with the drop-in parts, how cheap) and then script it into the game.
I hope since it deals with Hawke's legacy there will be something between Varric and Cassandra.
Worst DLC ever. Ever.
Bring Down the Sky was a triumph compared to that stain. That it could have anything in common is why my first question is who came up with the concept of what Hawke's Lineage: The Real Honest Harsh Truth is going to be.
Warden's Keep's only fault was that we were told we would acquire a fortress and then afterwards we're stuck outside permanently and can't even make use of the damn thing. I mean hell it would've been nice to explore the damn place and see Oghren feasting away in a renovated kitchen, Wynne and Morrigan reading books in the room where we fought the Archivist (who for some reason was a demon), Sten looking out at the mountains, Alistair heading to the barracks.
It had a great story but afterwards it was only good for the storage chest and Starfang.
