Do you have to play it with a current game, or can you import that post save game mansion thing?
I wouldn't really call it an import but yes you can play from the Post-Campaign save.

Is Carver or Bethany available if I use this save? Or do i have to revert to an ACT 1 save to bring them along?

Does this mean we're going to get another DLC like arrival that can be played at any time but it makes absolutely no sense to do it before the campaign is over?
I can just see it now
Aveline: Hawke! The Qunari are about to invade the city, you must go and calm the Arishok!
Hawke: Yeah I'll do that later. Right now I'm heading off to some unknown place far away from Kirkwall to discover my heritage.
Aveline: -.-'

It's not like it makes much sense as it is now -- the new gorrilla-like running genlocks make these dwarves saying how the encountered creatures were like them look pretty dumb. Or really high on lyriumThe Ethereal Writer Redux wrote...
that wouldn't make sense as the Dwarves were the first to encounter the Darkspawn, and the ones they encountered were Genlocks.

An old prison belonging to an old order? Check
This prison has housed an 'ancient evil' for thousands of years? Check.
The protagonist has to piece together some sort of "key"? Check.
The "ancient evil" wants to use the protagonist to free himself? Check.
Wait a minute. This is BG2's Watcher's Keep v2.0! Let me guess, the Talking Darkspawn's name is... Demogorgon. lol

Story wise it will work anywhere in the game and reflect accordingly.Jamie9 wrote...
Luke! Do you know when this DLC is
supposed to take place: which act. Most have said act 2 but I would like
official word on it if I could.
The weapon is class specific. Additionally, it takes in to account if youre a 1h/2h warrior or dualwield/bow rogueKennethAFTopp wrote...
I wonder... Will the key only be a sword or could it also be an axe or a hammer? Or a bow?
I can't speak to why that version of the trailer had that slide about PS3 being delayed but I've been assured that is not currently the case and all versions will be releasing July 26thAzuraLuna wrote...
Can the devs please clarify when it's
supposed to be released for the PS3? The official site says one thing,
the trailer says another. Even a "We don't know for sure yet." would
help.
Edit: Nevermind. The trailer now says July 26th without an asterisk.

I do have one Question.... if we play during the early level, will the weapon we get level up?

Does this have something to do with how many talents or abilities we've spent on the skill trees? (for example if I've heavily invested in archery talents in comparison to dual wielding does the 'key' become a bow?).
Or is it based on the currently equipped weapon Hawke was using at the time of the DLC launch or upon recieving the 'key' weapon?

I dunno I like the new look. They seem dwarf-like to me.
This Alpha seems to be the same size as Hawke when both stand up straight (which you can see if you look hard enough in the brief showing of them in the demo). bear in mind that Hawke is a shorter human. Carver is just a little bit taller than him. Also, dwarves have been remade to look kinda stocky. So Genlocks should look stocky as well.
Question to Luke: Are regular Genlocks smaller than the Alphas? Because they should be, and if they aren't, then I shall be sad

BTW, was it mentioned anywhere what languages the DLC is going to support?
All languages that were supported in Dragon Age 2 are still supported in the Legacy DLC
