I wonder if him seeking 'the light' has anything to do with the Maker, i.e. the "Chant of Light."
Hah doubtful
He's just been underground for so long he probably wants to go topside.

Kind of hard to be sure with all the spell effects going on around her but I don't think her eyes light up like Anders' do, and the revenant she's casting a spell on gets the same crackly effect she does for a while. Don't know if that changes anything, could just be a spell effect? The Ethereal Writer Redux wrote...
Actually.... the female Warden seems to also do the Justice glow, so I think she may be a Rivaini Seer turned Warden.

Hmm.... I'll have to watch the trailer and dissect it piece by piece. See what I can find out.

Bioware please don't pi** on all the lore you created in Dragon Age Origins...

It's disheartening to see BW milking the game for more $$ while footdragging and underspending on important bugfixes to the core game, most of which probably wouldn't require a significant amount of manhours to fix (which makes it doubly disappointing).
* Hello talents and tactical programming features that are still broken.
* Hello save game imports/exports that are still broken.
etc.

Not really just "some random guy" as it's seems to be Hawke's bloodline is important for the containment or release of this darkspawn.
Evidence that suggests this are the lines in the trailer "You are what held me, I smell the blood in you". And "I swore we'd bring him Malcolm Hawke's blood"

The next DLC for Dragon Age II will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Mac on July 26, prepare yourself for Dragon Age Legacy.Learn more about Dragon Age Legacy on the Legacy page
- Uncover the harsh truth about the Hawke lineage
- Adventure through several new locations including a prison constructed by the Grey Wardens
- Obtain a powerful class-specific weapon to which you can apply upgrades of your choice
Sounds inteesting but i am sad. I am glad it seems you listened to some of the feedback but i was hoping for a new romance. All we get in DA2 is a mage who blows up the chantry and a elf who has anger management issues and post dramatic stress disorder it seems. With that said though it loooks pretty good for those you listened to.

First off its something they said to you now, there's no mention of this neither in one of the previous games....don't make me an imbecile, stop with the "activison blizzard lore twists"....
They could make him an "ultra-mega Grey Warden" if they want but that doesn't mean we should take it as is and just nod and clap hands...

I'll thank you not to put words in my mouth sir, nowhere did I imply you were an imbecile or that bioware were changing/revealing aspects of dragon age lore. I simply showed evidence to try and assuage your 'some random guy' fears.
On a different note I'd recommend registering your games to your account so as to prevent people coming to the conclusion you joined today to start arguments. Once again I'm not implying anything just offering some friendly advice.

"i smell the blood in you"he says...
he became one? or whas allways one from the beginning?
Interesting.
Ithink its good DLC if its like 5 hours long.
It ads something to the game.
And lets hope more DLC will come, that will give some answers to ALL the loose endings we have :$
