But, like he said it depends on your playstyle.

While we're nit-picking, Morrigan's ritual doesn't show sex with a warden either. So are you gonna argue that it didn't happen? The Ethereal Writer Redux wrote...
But I still say that Morrigan's Ritual showed nothing more than just sex with a Warden.

It showed enough. Morrigan on top of a Warden. The underwear is just something Bioware put in to not show nudity, but that doesn't mean the two dry-humped.
It showed enough to drive the point home that they had sex. Even were I such an idiot to argue that it didn't happen, Witch Hunt proves that it did indeed happen if my Warden went that route.

Again, using YOUR logic, since it wasn't shown to us, we can't be convinced it happened. Unless of course, we're going to pick and choose what we speculate on.

using your logic of my logic, I guess the sex scenes in Origins when you romance someone aren't sex either. It's just people wrestling in a very odd manner.

And even if it might dwindle over generations, it would still be there. So, if Hawke had an ancestor who was a Warden, no matter how long ago that was he still has the taint in his blood.
But:

Grey Wardens have a limited chance of conception with a non-Grey Warden, but it does happen... and the child is not tainted in any fashion.
Oops! the last 2 1/2 pages of your random theory-crafting, down the tubes.

Yea, I'm done talking with you. Now you're the one trying to win over the internet.

Luke Barrett said that depending on your playstyle it'll last at least 3 hours. 5 hours if you want to do everything.
But, like he said it depends on your playstyle.
I have heard developers claim that quite often with their dlc lasting a few hours and it always turned out to be at least less than half of what they said and that IS with doing everything.
If they mean with style of play like a snail then probably.

fair point. Hopefully it's at least 2 hours. Hopefully the fights aren't incredibly easy like Origins and DA2 battles were.

I like to derp. I sometimes herp. But man I love to herp derp.
But I do hope that the DLC isn't too much shorter than the ballpark they gave.

This game is basic there really isn't much to it, developers hardly put that kind of content in the game for it to have a particular style of play where it can last several hours.
Unless its a Shivering Isle type DLC then yeah I can easily see how it will last several hours however DA2 environments and areas are very basic and static.

the story seems a bit fantastic and unbelievable to me. time will tell.
also this dlc comes way too late, the game is already cold.

The DLC a very obvious and somewhat desperate ploy to win back to success of Dragon Age Origins, by returning to what Origins was about after the very bad rep DA2 has quickly developed.
In my opinion, not worth it but that's only because I just don't believe DA2 is worth the time or effort anymore and that we should just concentrate on making ME3 and DA3 some of the BEST games of this decade.
I won't lie though.... I'm cautious... but you've certainly picked up my interest again, Bioware. Now let's see if you're worth it.

people have different playstyles. I wouldn't call it taking longer evidence of playing like a snail. Me? I like to derp around and run in circles for a while before moving on with the quest. Then I derp some more after doing something.

It's more fun the herp derp way, also, I like to make sure that I don't miss anything. And having a boyfriend who runs a 3D company has left me with an (almost) obsessive need to check out all textures and normal mapping etc in all games I play, so I take my sweet time.
Also also, I'm very excited about this DLC. Are we there yet?

Does that even surprise you? Half the bloody complaints about DA2 was ''I wanted a SEQUEL to DA:O, not a game that changes anything! I just wanted the same story but in a new environment. F*CK YOU BIOWARE, I'M GOING TO SUICIDE-BOMB YOUR HOUSE!!!''LilyasAvalon wrote...

Is it that hard to think that because massive sh*tloads of complaints about this made them want to change it? If you complain about it over and over, you're going to get results, because unfortunately, Bioware listens to ALL the fans, but the fans that dislike a game posts far more than the ones who liked it.
You reap what you sow basically. I'm hoping for people to complain about how it copies DA:O, so I can come along and point out their hypocrisy.

Just to point out...
-People don't complain because any change is bad. People complain because this change took the "sequel" to another genre and changed so many things that people liked.
-This isn't what people wanted. This is a silly attempt to recapture that Origins feeling with DA2's DLC and it looks like an pathetic attempt.
