Its still Dragon age no matter what tweeks or mods were made. The genre is still the same there is no doubt about that. Also I beleive that some people would **** and complain even if DA2 functioned and worked the exact same as DAO. But alas everyone is entitled 2 their own openion and you know what they say about openions "Openions are like ass holes everyone has one". Any way im playin through again chompin at tha bit 2 get my hands on DA Legacy.

I don't know if this has been asked before.. but the Wardens couldn't have imprisoned that darkspawn for 2000 years. The Wardens were created during the First Blight, which was 1300 years prior to DA:O. Neither the Wardens or the darkspawn existed 2000 years prior to Origins/DA2. Is this a massive oversight or is it a plot twist or something that's going to be addressed?

The ancient evil man will try and take your hawke's body and just then out of no where your warden will jump in front of the attack, and it will take your wardens body, then you have to use your hawke to kill your warden, then Bioware won't have to worry about your other character.

I won't be buying. Game sucked playing through the first time. I won't be purchasing any expansions for it.

Achievement unlocked for bioware.

Created new environment.
Created new creature.

Suggestion for bioware drop DA2 make DLC or expansion for DAO, because garbage is garbage.

Seriously what play style?? If you mean causing your character to walk rather than run then yeah snail pace. There is no particular style of play where you could take longer, you either look around everywhere, either read or skip all dialogue or just skip everything and not look.

This game is basic there really isn't much to it, developers hardly put that kind of content in the game for it to have a particular style of play where it can last several hours.

Unless its a Shivering Isle type DLC then yeah I can easily see how it will last several hours however DA2 environments and areas are very basic and static.

When they first said that DA 2 was going to last about 40 hours I was a bit disappointed, but after the game released I learned that Bioware is very modest about the time it takes to complete their games. I didn't walk instead of runinng, skipped no dialogue and explored every time I got a chance, and voíla... 92h47min on my first playthrough.

You could have used this release to make steps to winning back your fanbase but instead you use it to make more $$$.

No sale.

Sadly, you can't spell meanie without EA. :(

Oh grow up. They're a business. Businesses exist to make money.

I'm looking forward to it and will buy it. Wish it was longer than 5 hours though but I'll still be playing it and having fun!

Just out of curiousity (I've probably missed this and someones already asked). The weapon you can pick up during the DLC does it scale? If I complete during act one, will it still be effective during Act 3?

Sorry if this had been answered already. Does the customizable weapon level up with your Hawke? Like some of the Item Pack weapons? I would like to know, to plan which save I'll use.

It levels up with Hawke, so it will still effective no matter what act you get it.

Well, while that's somewhat worrying, the voice says that "two thousand years, the magic holds", not that it has been held for two-thousand years. It could just be referring to how much longer whatever-it-is will be imprisoned for if it doesn't break out early. (Clutches at straws)

That aside, this looks pretty good.  Can't say I was crying out for yet more darkspawn, though.

Doesn't seem like this dlc moves the unfinished story of the Chantry's troubles in the main game at all. Just a sidequest and Hawke backstory it seems. Hmm, pass.

Luke! Do you know when this DLC is
supposed to take place: which act. Most have said act 2 but I would like
official word on it if I could.

Story wise it will work anywhere in the game and reflect accordingly.

I guess we know where Hawke went after Act 3 now.

I almost wish I didn't kill the Architect. Maybe he would have things to say about whatever this other talking darkspawn's name is. Or maybe not.

Do you mean the Circles rising up against the Templars over Thedas, which causes the beginning of the apparent fall of the Chantry?
I kind of expected that to be explored further in another game, or at least an expansion. It seems to big for DLC, maybe we'll see something examining some of the effects of the upheaval. But I would imagine no more than that.

Unless of course you mean something taking place within the unseen years inbetween acts, to further flesh out the unrest in Kirkwall? That's something I hope to see.

I believe it can be played at any point.
