I know that will not be popular with some. We the players should to give BW a brake in this, for it would be to costly and near impossible to carter to every chose we make . " The are mostly human"
If we allow them this ,they can focus on given us the deep engageing stories that is the hallmark and soul of the games that BioWare as given us in the past and hopefully in the days to come. for if we do not were only were only cheating our selfs.
This is my two coppers worth but there it is none the less :innocent:

Easier to go with the default storyline in other words in DA2 "Hero of Ferelden" (Default) and say that is the canon. As so let Morrigan and the Warden be together .

I think you're not far off with what Bioware is actually going to do, at least when it comes to Morrigan. I think Witch Hunt isn't going to count. They basically disowned it when there were no flags from that DLC carried into DA2. That means it can't be carried into DA3. So whatever you did in WH is not going to count. I also think they are going to retcon the Godbaby in. No matter what you did, I think they will invent a way for Morrigan to have had the Godbaby somehow regardless of the DAO choice you made. That and I think the Warden is done. I really don't think the Warden is going to show up in any of the other games except as a cameo at most. With those things done, all of the issues wont' matter as much. Your race doesn't matter because the Warden is basically done, and whatever you did with Morrigan in WH and in regards to DAO doesn't matter either.

I could easily see them making the baby canon in that way if the player had either refused Morrigan's offer or kicked her out of the party beforehand.
Regardless, we have gotten really off topic. I am very excited to see feedback about the DLC start coming in here on Tuesday. Does anyone know of an exact time it will be available?

Well, as far as the OGB, nothing in DA:O at all stopped the possibility that if Morrigan did not do the Ritual with you, she couldn't have seduced Riordan with the same offer. You and Riordan weren't super best buds where he would tell you if he had made such a deal, after all. He barely knew you.
I think they made up some lame excuse like Riordan had been tainted too long or something, and the Warden/Alistair/Loghain were relatively newly tainted.

So there couldn't be a secret liaison without retroactively declaring that nobody died (and if they're going to do that, why not just use the Warden as her baby-daddy?).

Kinda hard to survive that with antiquated medicine like Thedas has, especially since Spirit Healers don't get to do much healing.

No, Awakening was an expansion not DLC. You have to get DLC direct from Bioware.

I'd be interested if Malcom was Grey Warden, really interested.
That's what I was thinking many pages back. Either Malcolm or an ancestor was a Grey Warden.
However, David Gaider said that the taint doesn't pass on to offspring, so the whole blood schtick doesn't work here.
But.... that doesn't mean that Malcolm didn't aid the Grey Wardens. Maybe Malcolm was a blood mage who used a blood magic spell to strengthen the magic that bound Corypheus? Maybe.... this ties in to the Enigma of Kirkwall? Okay, I doubt that it does tie in to that.

Maybe we'll find the last member of the Band of Three? Assuming the codex entries were written in Hawke's lifetime and not before.

even if...
...with all the Steam - Origin tensions i wouldn't expect anything from EA to be present on Steam

I just watched the Bioware Pulse thing from Comic Con featuring Legacy...saw the same gameplay footage again, followed by questions. At which point it was pretty much confirmed that no reference will be made to Origins' Warden despite it being Grey Warden related.
I wasn't excited about Legacy to begin with, then against ALL my better judgement I started to get thrilled for July 26th (I'm having an operation the next day, I wanted to have some Dragon Age fun before I go into hospital).
I saw like, two more questions after that, then I closed the window. I can't believe I got my hopes up for even ONE line, mentioning "that good ol' elven warden" or "that fine ol' dwarf warden". All I needed was maybe one mention to make it feel like it mattered, but I'm amazed how disappointed I was.
I hate feeling so very detached from my Hawke, but DAII continues to feel so ex-cannon to me. In my own little brain at least I can pretend it was all just Varric's wild story! Wondering how many other fans got turned off Legacy by that disheartening comment, I'm amazed how miserable I actually feel over it! Still gonna buy it though, for my non-cannon Hawke.

Just remeber that you're warden already finish his/her job in Amaranthi (sp) It probably been years since he/she left that place..
Not one knows where the warden is, not even his/her Li.
Do I want everyone who meet my warden's to talk about it, YES of course, but it didn't happen, so lets move on. In DA3 they probably won't even mention the warden at all, because he dissapeared years ago.
Today news last 3 times longer than in that time, trust me in a place like Thedas you are only famous if someone mention you or talk about you next day something comes up and you are left in the shadows. Yes in the old times news lasted at most a week.

Very true, they don't have "Sky News 24" in Kirkwall to keep up to date.
It just seems that after everything that happened, how the Warden apparently changed history and stopped a blight, there might've been a mention of it in a Grey Warden history lesson, even if we don't expect everyone to keep going on about him/her. But of course if Legacy covers much. much older Warden history, it's a handy reason not to mention the Warden at all.
Like I said, still gonna buy it though! I just imagined that some other people probably saw that Pulse feed and hit their head off their keyboard, based on how many people on the forums have been sniffing around for any gleams of Warden-relevance in the new DLC. I'm going to support it, and hope that claims of "addressing fans' concerns" apply to this and any future content.

Liliana said she holds the warden dear to her heart but ends up still taking the job in orlasis and is about the only thing I got on my warden. I want to know if I bring my dog with me will it add warden lore or party banter? @Chris Priestly. We know the from companion stories in da2 and warden experiences of origins that evil fears our mabari hound IE warden tower and getting shale. I would want my dog be given some respect.
My unfortunate dog in DAII had terrible need of a professional dentist. I support retainers for dogs. And respect.
