I don't think that's gonna cut it.

PC/Mac - approx 10AM MST (1700 GMT)
X360 - when MS updates marketplace (so can't guarantee) - for previous DLCs, I think it was early AM PST (early aft GMT)
PS3 (not europe) - when Sony updates store (so can't guarantee) - for previous DLCs, I think it was early afternoon PST
PS3 (europe) - when Sony updates store (so can't guarantee) - for previous DLCs, I think it was around mid day GMT.

Looks like it will be around 3-4 am here in Aus (east) on the 27th (since it is 2:00 on the 26th now here). Stupid time zones...

MUST start download before going to work!

I'm hoping by some off chance that XBL will update early tonight. The sad thing is that I've had this entire weekend with absolutely nothing to do, but tomorrow I work all day, starting early in the morning.

Great timing lol.

Both MS and Sony have their own process - they update their stores on tuesdays (Sony updates their euro stores on Wed). For PC/Mac we could probably setup some sort of automated release, but its not midnight everywhere at the same time - someone will 'lose out' :) More importantly we want to make sure we have staff on-hand should anything not go to plan.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, ME2's Arrival caught me by surprise by releasing well before its intended time, while LotSB and Kasumi came out very much later than I'd been told. Seems it can be pretty random.

That being said, though, it's a shame I can't play it while I have time. I may need to wait a few days before playing it due to work. I had the last three days off but couldn't use them on anything meaningful. Such is life.

Cool, I figured it'd be around the afternoon, considering Arrival's release time.
Thanks for the HU.

Do you have like a big button that you personally have to push? Please say yes.

If not, you definitely should get one. And then when people tell you stuff you don't like, you can hit the button and yell, "Do it now!"

I'll get it today, but I'll have to wait to play it. I started a playthrough of DAO a few days ago and want to get through it and Awakening. It's not really a bad thing, I love both games, so it's not a major complaint.

Oh ****! Five is addicted?? *shifty eyes* When do the people with the white coats come take you away? Cause I am on playthrough 11, started playthrough 12 today... I have a serious problem, and also no job.

It's a bit odd that in this age of computers stuff can't be released at the correct time in different time zones - yes, I'm a bit miffed that I need to wait for hours yet for my DLC, even though it's already been the 26th here for hours!

The miffed fctor is made worse by the fact that I have been awake since 0600 my time, and it all feels like wasted time!

I've only "completed" one playthrough of DA2 (as a mage), and am little miffed that on one of my three incomplete playthroughs (mage, warrior & rogue) that I am alternating between I had a glitch on the Huon quest and he never dropped the boots - and I didn't notice till too late. So my warrior will be lacking the Champion boots unless I restart from scratch again... I've restarted a few times because I've encountered glitches or made silly mistakes.

Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to this DLC so I've some new content to play.... just got myself some more MSP so I could get it as soon as it hits the Australian marketplace.

Launch on the XBOX Live is Midnight EST. So We got a little over 20 minutes to go, I believe.

Man, sometimes I hate being gainfully employed. When Witch Hunt came out I sat up until four in the morning to start the download, then went to bed and played when I woke up.

As if have stuff I'm meant to be doing tomorrow night, I fear I may come down with a horrible case of darkspawn plague when it's time for work on Thursday. (The sad thing is, this would not be the first time I'd taken a sick day to play a BioWare game.)

Oh, you guys are cute. ;)

(I remember getting up at some kind of 3am kind of a time for the release of Sims 2 Pets. How tragic is that? And several others but Sims 2 Pets has to be the most tragic.)

As for Legacy, looking forward to it, but I think tomorrow might suffice.

I did notice that the couple of demos I've vaguelly seen feature Anders. Do you think it's better to take him along?

It's times like these that I'm glad I work in a coffee shop. Then again, if I didn't have work in the morning, I wouldn't need to drink coffee. Hm. An impasse.

In other news, yay DLC in 9 minutes (hopefully)!
