I took Sebastian, Merrill and Fenris. And although the banter was ok, I realized I should have taken Beth/Carver, Anders (because of the warden involvement), and also Varric (for a reason I won't say). Only because I think what I saw the first time through, I would get better banter with these guys. So next play through will be these guys.

It depends on you; well it depends on the abilities that you've already unlocked. If you've unlocked more two handed talents than one handed than you'll get a two handed sword, if it's the opposite you'll get a one handed sword.Nimpe wrote...
What weapon does the warrior get? Is it twohanded? I hope so, because for some reason the weapon pack two-hander doesn't level up with you.

what will happen if i play a rogue with no points in archery or duel-weapon? im currently using bows, and i put all my points into tactical abilities with no points in the combat trees.

5 min left? Anders is just needed for heals I guess.
You can mod the game and give the healing spells to other chars.

I'm hazarding a guess and saying it'll default to dual-wield unfortunately if you don't have points in either (i dont think there is a secondary equipment check). I suggest saving often and keeping 1 point available to put in to archery just in case (you can always drop it after you receive the key)
