Man  You can always go to "your registred game promotions" and download it from there again once you have purshased it, with "link" he means that link, I can garantee you 100% that noone wasted money, and I was one of those who had "broken link", I know it from earlier downloading ME2 DLC´s like this, it just restarted and now it will be finished already almost.
