The Conductor..... who is he?!?!?!?!

I want to know why he looks just like the Architect.

I don't see it.

There was a better shot of him in the demo footage. He has the exact same build and even his arms and hands look identical. At the very least, the conductor is using the Architect's model.

Not really, the Architects face is nothing like the Conducters, the outfit for him is also more armoury.

This DLC seems interesting :-)

now, noob question: I see only 2 screenshots here http://dragonage.bio...2/addon/legacy/ but back in the first pages of the thread someone said there were more. Where are they??

Gallery, click on the arrows at the bottom.

Linking them here for quicker reference.

Thanks :-)

Mhhh I like.

That means a new design for the darkswpawn ?

In any case, happy to see again, a story with the wardens.

He's obviously the Old God Baby.

OGB isn't canon. If it's the case, the Conductor wouldn't appear in non-OGB files.

I'm still fixated on the genlocks. I want to take one home! They're cuddly, yet they inspire fear!

Hmm you know what... I have an actual question. Blasphemy I know...

Is the only way to play the dlc with our siblings in party is to play the dlc in act one or is it possible at end game too if they're still are alive?

I must know...

We must know.

Chris? David? Anyone?

Maybe it will be a LI with two gifts?

I want to know if they listened to what some of us were saying, so I am going to give Legacy the benefit of the doubt. It's pretty hard for BW to figure out, I guess. Some of what the critics said was pretty universal. If that has been addressed in the DLC content then it might even be worth it. Other things might end up being a gamble. Let's hope that the things they didn't address aren't blown out of proportion. Looking at this DLC may even show which direction DA3 is heading. Although you'll never know. ;)

If your sibling is a grey warden I imagine they could contrive a way for him/her to tag along. As a templar/mage, I dunno.

Im sorry...stupid question. But where does he show up in Origin...?
Is it him in Awakening? (I never finished it...)

Only in Awakening.

There is a big battle with the Architect in the second book "The Calling."   This is where the Architect is first introduced into the story.  In game he shows up in Awakening.

If I'm not mistaken don't Grey Wardens turn into darkspawn or it's implied that they do.  Maybe this is the first Grey Warden who turned or didn't fully turn into Darkspawn.  My money is still on a Trevinter Archon.

Well, the page does say "Playable from any point in the DAII campaign" so I assume it will work even if the Hawke sibiling is not "available".

I think I squealed a little when I saw the 26 July release date! Not quite the squeal I emitted when Hawke received "King Alistair's" letter in DAII, but I was excited non the less.

I hope we get some new info in the next 3 weeks as to content. I was hoping the presentation would at least mention how long the DLC will be gameplay wise. I just hope there is plenty of companion interaction, unlike DAII :/

You can play this during ACT 1

Any hints on when it's "best" to play this DLC?  I know it can be played at any time, but I'd like to know if there's a specific place in the story where it seems to flow best.  I need to know whether to go ahead and start my next playthrough now or wait a few weeks until closer to DLC release so I can have a Hawke in Act 1 or 2.

In order to have Bethany or Carver in the party, do we have to play it in Act 1?  Or will a post-game save in which we had them in the party for the final battle suffice?

Looks pretty cool! Love the new darkspawn and the areas look pretty nice, too. It'll be great getting out of Kirkwall! I'll be buying this day 1. :-)

If your sibling isn't "available" (Templar/Mage or Grey Warden), they are still within your party and cannot be accessed. As we've got lines for the character and we can access the DLC at any part of the game, it wouldn't be wild to assume that we'd be able to add them to the party for the DLC quest (they temporarily become unlocked) and the dialogue explains why they've come with you.

This is really farfetched but since Legacy is apparently about finding out some big bad secret about the Hawke family, could the conductor be some Hawke ancestor? Founder of the line perhaps?

Ahhh probably not
