Parthalan #1
During the Exalted March, the Tevinter Imperium was in chaos. Magister Parthalan and two high-ranking magisters were sent to Kirkwall to put down a slave uprising before it spread to the entire empire. However, their legion never arrived at Kirkwall; no one knows what happened to the party, Magister Parthalan - or his fabled staff.
Parthalan #2
Magic has always run strongly within the Hawke bloodline. The tales passed down from one generation to the next tell of an ancestor named Parthalan, a mage who long ago helped to unite Ferelden under the rule of King Calenhad. Parthalan eventually vanished into legend, fleeing the persecution of the Chantry, but his legacy remains in the hands of his family - along with his hope that one day, mages would achieve the freedom that King Calenhad intended to bring to all men.
Both entries potentially refer to Hawke relatives.
However, it seems Parthalan 1 and Parthalan 2 can't be the same man. Unless, there's just one Parthalan and his story was changed at some point making only one of these accurate. Or maybe there's truth to both and one is a case of bad reporting or of history getting it wrong.
For one thing "Conductor" is a vague name like "Architect" is. They both involve arranging things. And the Architect and Conductor are similar visually. Also, a conductor pertains to music and the Darkspawn hear a song, a blood music.
At any rate, it's possible one of the Parthalan's is the Conductor and that he's a magister, related to Hawke, imprisoned by the Wardens and has the darkspawn taint.
Does anyone know the timeline on Parlathan 1 in relation to the Blights?
Just wondering if it's plausible that the truth behind the magisters and the start of the Darkspawn taint could be tied to the Conductor (a possible Hawke relative) somehow.
