I think DA2 is all the proof you need to put all your worrying about ME3 to rest

You do know people hated the everliving f**k out of that trailer for having guitars and being action-oriented, right?
Makes sense.. so I guess bioware has to strictly do pianos and percussion music in a game with no action.
Got it.
I don't care what other people like or dislike. Judge for yourself based off what you see about ME3. Drawing conclusions about ME3 from DA2 seems like a fool's errand.
Should we draw conclusions about ME3 from Battlefield Bad Company 2? Sure, not the same devs, but the same publisher! Where do we draw the line?

You're only fooling yourself if you think their arrogance let them learn something.

Did you miss all the boasting at the EA conference how DA2 was "very well received" and "attracted many new fans" ?

If you ask me, the world was crap. I honestly never cared about anything in the game, and that is ultimately why I don't like Dragon Age. It's more like you get thrust forward into a half finished world that I know nothing about and must save it from a force that is evil only for the sake of being evil. In my opinion, anything the Dragon Age team touches is instantly crap, so I'm not in the least bit worried about Mass Effect. Not trying to bash Dragon Age, just stating my opinion, it always seems to have potential but be super rushed, especially Dragon Age 2. If they want any hope with that series, they need to actually spend some time instead of throwing out a half completed piece of crap.matt-bassist wrote...
IWith DA:O they spent years creating an absolutely amazing world, rich with detail and culture,

Umm...
And if you bring up "reproduction" the darkspawn do the exact same thing. I mean preferences are preferences but saying "lol it's evil for the sake of evil." when the other series does the exact same thing is just...ridculous. Most BW games have that formula (at least KOTOR (the Sith), JE (master LI), ME (reapers) and DA (the darkspawn) did).

Kinda agree with this. Mako, elevators, expansive weapon customization. Instead of making UNC worlds more varied, loading maps faster thus elevator rides shorter and the inventory more intuitive, better and easier to navigate, they kind of removed the problems with these features by removing the features themselves lol. It's as if Ubisoft removed all side-quests in AssCreed 2 because the players found the ones in AssCreed 1 to be very repetitive (in a similar way UNC worlds in ME1 were).Slidell505 wrote...
Not sure yet, Bioware seems to believe in the very brave formula of "Hey, it worked in the first game, people liked it, but they had a few complaints; let's ditch it entirely." which is a bit counterintuitive to traditional game design.
