I never recruited Morinth either, even on renegade playthroughs. The only reason to recruit Morinth is just  for the lulz of being an evil ******.

It just doesn't make much sense beyond that. Sure, if you are a renegade Samara may want to kill you after the mission is done, but Morinth wants to murder you as well. The only difference between the two of them is that Morinth wants to climax while murdering you. Pick your poison.

Morinth is also a psychotic while Samara is sane. Jeopardizing the mission by bringing a mentally unstable person aboard the Normandy makes zero sense.

Subject Zero, anyone?

Jack has lots of issues and emotional baggage, but she's sane.

No more sane than morinth.
She was even advertized as a psycopath in the trailers for ME2.

Morinth insane? Nope. Don't think so.

Did we play the same game?

Morinth is a serial killer that murders people for sexual gratification.

Advertising isn't canon.

lol. That does not make her insane. Just a sociopath.
By your logic, Jack is just as insane because she killed her fellow students all the time and ``Loved it.``
Just talking to Jack you can see that shes not mentally stable. It may be justified, but shes atleast somewhat insane. She was tortured both physically and phsycologically, so it would  make sense for her to be a little insane. She also hates cerberus more than anything, so having her on your team makes even less sense.

You definitely don't need to be insane to be a serial killer.

About comparing Jack and Morinth,

Remember that recruiting Jack does not include you participating in the murder of another team member that trusts you.

samara may have trusted me, but I definitely didn't trust her, or like her at all. She seemed like Bioware's equivalent of a Jedi, and jedi annoy me. Before anyone seizes that as a wannabe evil sentiment, sith annoy me too. they're both idiots.

I like the idea of relationships with Dangerous women the problem with Morinth ? I'm not sure whether or not you have to agree with her before she can use her "eyes go black" and all that. If it were possible to have physical contact with her but her not be able to do that eye thing I'd pick her on a renegade playthrough. I really like Samara but I wouldn't enjoy fighting her if she decided to kill me, in that case I would lose two strong allies.

Choosing morinth and ME3 repercussions ? I'd say Jacob, Garrus, Thane, Grunt, jack, Zaeed and possible Miranda are at risk.

There is difference between the two. Morinth is killing people for sexual pleasure, something that definitely makes her a psycopath. She's a sexual sadist like BTK or Ted Bundy.

Jack killed people because she had to, or at least she did while she was a Cerberus lab rat. Totally different set of circumstances.

Are you seriously trying to argue that Morinth is sane but Jack is not?

LOL.

Come on dude. If Jack is nuts then Morinth also is by default. She once tricked an entire village into worshipping her as a godess, so the villagers would offer her their daughters as sacrifices. That sort of thing takes crazy to Charles Manson levels.

At any rate even if Jack is deranged (I don't believe she is), her presence on the team is hardly justification for adding Morinth as well. If Jack is a nutjob and a danger to the team, adding yet another nutjob is an even worse idea.

Name one sane serial killer.

Sane people don't wake up in the morning and think, "Gee...maybe I'll start killing people for the lulz."

Samara is not Bioware's equivalent of a Jedi.  Jedi are reluctant to kill anyone (especially innocents, whether or not they get in their way)in the first place, with Justicars it seems to be their first and last resort.

1. Jack didnt just kill people because she had to, she enjoyed it. Therefor, by your logic, shes crazy.  Did you not read what I said?
2. No, being insane is not mandatory for being a serial killer. The definition of a serial killer is not `someone whos insane and kills people.` Morinth is just a sociapath
3. Yes, I am saying Jack is crazy. Justified maybe, but still a little crazy.
4. Morinth MAY be crazy, but theres no real evidence for that. We DO have evidence that shes a sociopath. Or just evil. But not necessarily crazy.

Morinth is alive in most of my playthroughs, more interested in what part (if any) she'll play in mass effect 3 then samara, plus evil characters from bioware are usually more fun (hk-47, korgan bloodaxe, edwin)

Some of what Jack says I believe is just bluster. As far as we know she never killed anyone just for the sake of killing.

But If Jack is crazy for saying that she enjoyed klling, what does that make Morinth? She kills people for sexual pleasure. (i.e., she enjoys it)

By your own definition that makes her crazy.

I suppose you are jsut having a hard time comprehending what im saying.
Jack is crazy to some extent, but not because she enjoyed killing other kids when she was under cerberus control. I simply brought that up because thats the reason you gave for Morinth being insane. And so, by your logic that would make Jack insane.

Also, she killed them because she was forced, but she loved doing it and probably would do it if she wasnt forced.

The difference between Morinth and Jack is, Morinth is a predator. She " hunts " her victims. Jack kills out of survival.

Morinth condition is addictive the more she does it the harder it is to resist.  For all we know her first "incident" could have been a accident (young love) or intentional we just don't know enough about her past.  To me she's like a drug addict continual drug use lowers inhibitions to the point that they'll do anything for more drugs.  She's a bit like that and I can't exactly call her insane or sane because of that, it's tricky.

Even as a Renegade, I have a tough time keeping Morinth alive. She's clearly a Complete Monster, but then again, keeping Samara alive as a Renegade will probably be hazardous to your health in ME3.

Renegades really can't win with that scenario it seems. Sure, Morinth won't kill you but I dunno how comfortable I'd feel with her roaming the galaxy as opposed to Samara... lol

Killed Samara once to unlock Dominance, that is not a saved game though...I didn't enjoy watching it either, just got through it as quickly as possible and deleted the game...but Dominance now locked in...

I only recruited her once to get her power. Morinth is too homicidal to be allowed to live.
